I was surprised by the poor quality of the binoculars I received. Although they were relatively inexpensive I didn't expect the eyecups to have fallen off BEFORE I even opened the package. The view was OK but I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.
The design is really sweet except the black rubber pieces on the top were unglued at the edges. I tried to remedy, but difficult because it is on an edge. Finally was able to glue it down onto the silver plastic below, but doesn't look so good.
i bought this for my dad and he loves it. it is very light weight and easy to see through and is very clear
With 10x magnification and a small 21mm diameter opening this pair is more like a telescope. The 8x model may be more practical for general use, but if you need this power for only something like a birds nest or just the face of an opera singer, it will do. This is very small in overall size and can easily fit in a jacket pocket. The resolution is OK, but don't expect this to be the amazing sharpness you get in a Nikon Travelite V. You are sort of getting more than what you pay for, but you are not paying much.
This is great i ove it and was delivered so quickly.
They are smaller, which I guess is a good thing, but they are also less powerful than I would have hoped.
These little binoculars are completely portable and are convenient to carry in a purse or travel bag. However, they do not come with a strap long enough to carry around your neck and the carry strap that was included broke the first day of use. Specifically, the clip that holds the strap to the binoculars just pulled (bent) apart when my niece grabbed for them while hanging on my wrist. These binoculars are very small and my husband gave up trying to see through them. The view area is very small so they are not practical for fast moving events such as auto racing. Overall, these would be good for light use in the yard (i.e. butterflies, birds, etc.) and for children.
