Unfortunately my husband hasn't use it but once. It is limited compared to certain other types, but for star gazers serves the purpose. The leases are adjustable and with a little effort, you can figure out how to use it properly. Need to follow instructions closely though. Decent valus for the money

This is probably the best deal I've ever found. The variety of lenses adds to the value. It came packed nicely and OK instructions on putting it together but it really isn't hard to figure out. We had some trouble trying to figure out the lenses, but a little trial & error goes a long way.Really good quality of telescope and magnification for viewing the moon and other planets and stars. If you want to get a close view of Mars or other planets farther away you might want to look at a more expensive one that has more magnification but this is a great starter scope! I would totally recommend this to my friends!

Although I am pleased with the overall quality of the product from a build standpoint, I have not been satisfied with it's functionality. I have on several occasions attempted to view the visible planets in the night sky but have yet to see any more than a brighter dot through the telescope. I am not faulting the item per se but I would have appreciated more detailed information on how to use the various lenses and accessories that came with the unit. I had always hoped to see the rings of saturn through a telescope and this one seems to be of good quality but I have not been able to master how to get the most out of it.
