I was very pleased in this product. I purchased it as a gift for Christmas. It arrived in a timely fashion and my son was extremely pleased with his gift. Our only issue was that the assembling instructions were somewhat vague.

entry level telescope
This is a nice, entry-level telescope for the money but make sure your expectations are low. If you hope to get clear views of Jupiter or Saturn you need to get a much more powerful scope.For simple viewing of the sky it's good for practice and determining if you wish for a more serious scope.

I purchased this for my 11 year old brother - easy to assemble, great product for reasonable price, easy to use. Great for looking into the night skies, but can't look across fields at objects during daylight hours or everything is upside down (as it should be)! My father and step brothers saw this and now wants one of their own too, and at this price its actually quite affordable. Also, overstock's shipping system works like lighting!
