I purchased the binoculars for sporting events and I am very, very pleased. The image is very sharp and easy to focus. The binoculars are lighter than what I expected which was a nice surprise. It would have been nice if the case had a pocket or place separate from the main case to keep the lens caps from falling out when using but that just may be me. Great value, great product.

After shopping around I finally decided to purchase these binoculars from Overstock for my husband. He loved them! He took them to Yellowstone Park and was the envy of everyone as he could spot animals from far distances and see them with clarity. These are great!

Not bad for the price, good set to just leave on your balcony or throw in your back back. Not top notch but decent for the price.

reall nice for amateurs like us, enjoyed looking at the cliffs of yosemite and the rock climbers...

I wanted a compact binocular which had coated optics to reduce flair and increase contrast. These Rokinon fit the bill. I have an older pair of Bushnell Binos that allways seemed to lack contrast and did not do a good job with color rendition. These Rokinon are better on these aspects and for under $40 I doubt that I could have found better. I am sure if I paid more, I could get better performance pariticularly with respect to Chromatic Abberations (there is some). Bulid quality is good.

I bought the binoculars for my parents who live on the ocean and like to watch the boats/ships go by. They are able to see very clearly the ships which are quite a distance away. They are very easy to use and to focus. I would highly recommend these binoculars. They are as good if not better than my parents old binoculars which were much more expensive than the ones from overstock!

I was looking for binoculars to take on a hike through the White mts. in NH and a cruise to Alaska. The Rokinon had good reviews so I ordered them. The quality is great for the price.. I've used them around the house and the view is clear. The case is a little light it would keep the dirt off of the glasses but wouldn't protect them if they dropped.

We were going on vacation and needed new binoculars and the Rokinon fit the bill for our needs. They are lightweight to carry but have a lot of power. Wish the covers for the lens were attached because taking them off and on and putting them in your pocket works but I know they will get lost when we are out in the mountains sooner or later. Other than that, great binoculars and good price. As always, shipping from the "O" is dependable. Thanks to my favorite shopping place.

Bought these for my wife for bird watching. Studied binoculars for a week or so. Went to Ostock and read the great reviews on this pair. If you are looking for a pair I would suggest these. They are really great and Ostock has them at a great price. I was in the merchant marines for 10 years and used al kinds of expensive binoculars but these beat any of them by a country mile.

I received my binoculars and finally got a chance to try them after all the rain we have had. They work very well,I recently had eye surgery and had tried other binoculars and could not see well through them,but these work great.

Thank You all fellow Reviewers~ skeptical & unfamiliar with "Rokinon", ultimately decided to purchase these 8x40 binos as a gift to replace my father's older pair of 7x35 (Tasco). He has over a month to wait so had to inspect and give the once-over. Comfortable size & weight, glasses have a very clean, crisp view along with smooth, precise action (As should be) dialing in the focus. Due to their UV ruby coating, I would imagine binoculars would be ideal for extra bright conditions such as over the water or snow. Just returned a pair of $75 Vivitar (roof prism) 8x42's and for quality & price difference - Glad I did. Stand with the multitude here . . .Happy return for the $$

These are good quality for the price. We looked through them to test them out and they were very clear. I am going to give them as a gift.
