    • Good optics

Bought these for my daily fishing trips. Took them out for my last 15 trips and they've been solid. Built in lit up compass works flawlessly and heavy rugged body could withstand anything. I dropped them from the top deck and the rubber armor really cushioned its fall, no broken optics still viewing correctly still happy. Ordered a set from my father in law too, he's going to love these

    • Good for a good price

Two pairs so far. First pair the eyepiece fell completely off. Manufacturer sent a second pair as promised by the warranty. This was a major manufacturer defect. Looked welded on with a single tack. Minor issue is that the wheel provided for calculating range keeps falling out of the lense cover. Try to do both is too much. Maybe a calculating wheel that fits into the lense cover, As it is now I have to put it into my pocket and go without a lense cover or glue it in and go without a range finding calculator. I do not consider them too heavy to carry. They are OK, but maybe more than some people are used to. I'm retired military and have been using binos for 45 years, all makes, models, and types. The best I can do for these is "Good" until the second pair does better.

      • How accurate was the sizing? Not applicable
      • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Eyepiece fell off. Range finding computing wheel drops out of lense cover.
      • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No. Eyepiece fell off.

    • Heavyweight

If you're looking for s small, pocketable set of binocs, this is not it. However, the size and weight make it very easy to hold steady. The reticle is clear, and the tables for use are inside one of the lens covers. All lens covers attach to the body - a plus. The field of vision is exceptionally clear, focus is easy and precise. The digital compass is non-intrusive and appears accurate. I've had no opportunity to test how fog- and waterproof the unit is. With the one con above, I can recommend these binocs highly.

    • Rokinon 7x50 waterproof binoculars

I am very pleased with the Rokinon 7x50 binoculars that I purchased from overstock.com. The images are bright & clear & the product appears to be well-made. I generally will not purchase optical products that are not waterproof & these Rokinons fill that requirement for me. These are the first binoculars that I have purchased with a built-in compass & range-finding recticle. These features were not a requirement for me but I'll have to see how that plays out. I have to admit to being something of a binoculars addict . . . these are my 7th pair so I have some experience in evaluating binoculars. One thing to keep in mind is that higher magnifications make it harder to keep the image steady if you hand-holding the glasses . . . magnifications of 15X or higher generally require a tripod or other way of steadying the glasses. I have generally found that a 7x50 binocular provides that best combination of magnification and steadiness of image when hand-holding a binocular. So far, I anticipate becoming a regular overstock.com customer.

    • WOW!

Wow! What a surprise when I looked down on the football field at our local 49'er game. It was a night game, everything was so clear! I passed the binoculars to a friend, we both wear glasses, and he said ,"WOW" where did you get these and what brand are they! So, Thanks

    • Binoculars

I like the binoculars and would have rated them higher but the enclosed documentation was for a different model. Took me two hours to track down the correct docs.
