I bought this for my husband for father's day - he has been wanting a telescope and I thought the price was good - it seems like a good value - he really enjoys using it so that makes it worth it.

I was looking for a telescope in the $150-250 range and came across many different models. Many different ones came up from various diff companies. I was a bit hesitant when I saw this one here on Overstock. I looked up other items by Rokinon and other customers seemed to be satisfied with their purchases. So i went ahead and purchased this telescope with the attitude that if I didn't like it, I would just send it back.I have to say that I couldnt be happier. In the beg, I was little overwhelmed when I received it because of the assembly. But after about half hour or so, I was ready to go. The included software is also lots of fun and helpful. Great optics for the price. Honestly, I was very surprised that I had never heard of Rokinon before and am gonna start lookin out for there other items. Kudos to the makers of this fine piece. My son and I have been using it every friday night. I highly recommend this to beginners and avid users alike.
