For just under $100 this is one amazing deal. The optics are surprisingly good, it is a very clear image both for terrestrial and astronomical use. I got very nice views of Venus and Jupiter, the equatorial mount is quite sturdy. It is a very light scope, easily transportable, the eyepieces are not bad at all (the 25mm Plossl is comparable to Meade and Orion eyepieces) and you can mount the scope on any tripod. I am a professional photographer and amateur astronomer, and even though I have larger telescopes, I will be using this one often!
