After we finally got it together , we had to partially take it apart to transport it . We took it out to the desert to see the full effects of the stars. It works beautifully ! I wish it came with a carry case so we didnt have to keep taking it apart to lay it down in our truck. You do have to do a lot of "dialing in" every few minutes to see whats out there as the sky moves. Not for someone with little patience or a beginner in my opinion.

Got this for my son and he loves it but putting it together, well, not so easy. The instructions are not very clear and it took us a while to figure it out.

Great telescope at this price. The tripod is pretty sturdy and assembly was a little annoying. But the end product was worth it. The cool blue exterior matches well with my living room. Guests love coming over to use it. Got it as a gift from my wife for father's day and couldn't be happier. Good optics by rokinon

the weather has not been cooperating but I believe this telescope will be easy to use and provide hours of enjoyment

My 5-year old grandson wanted a telescope for his birthday so I got him one. Both him and his dad (my son) are excited and pleased with this item. Even tho' instructions on putting the item together is very limited, my son didn't have problems putting it together. This item is not only for kids but for adults as well, with both my son and grandson enjoying it.

I ordered the telescope to watch the exlipse on the morning of Aug, 28th. I did order the 5 day delivery and ordered it on the 20th. It showed on the 27th in the evening, which was just in time, and as I expected, but a little sooner than I expected would've been nice. The telescope was Great!!! But, the instructions to put it together was not accurate. Obviously some of the parts had changed since the manufacturer printed the instructions. This was a challenge, but I was able to get around this.

I did not realize how much assembly there was to a telescope. The instructions were useless. The software that comes with it is awesome. I would recommend that you shop and compare before purchasing. We are able to look at the moon very well. Not so much for planets or stars.
