I may be a little spoiled by a really nice pair of 8X35 Wide angle lense Minoltas I use, but I was not as impressed with these binoculars as other reviews suggested I should be. However, they are well worth the sale price I paid and they do actually work pretty well. I am not certain they would be a good buy at their suggested price, but to get waterfroof, fog proof ,coated lenses for the price I paid is impressive. I do fully expect to have to replace the strap as it unravelled considerably while being installed. My purpose in selecting a 10X42 lense was to get a clearer view of birds that are a little too far away for my lower power Minoltas. The narrower field of view was expected but a little difficult to get used to. The optics are pretty good and will probably suit my purpose. All in all, I am pretty satisfied with these binoculars.

We were looking for binoculars that we can use in Costa Rica during the wet season. These focus well when you get used to using them. They are durable and have a great distance. The price may be a little bit too high for these binoculars.

I can not say enough about the Rokinon binoculars. The quality of glass for the cost is great. My father in-law loved my set so much he had be order him a set. A great quality optic for the cost No Question.

I live on a mountain lake after leaving my binoculars out in the rain twice they were a lost cause. So I shopped for replacements that were waterproof. These are water and fog proof and have proven to be excellent quality. Haven't left them out in the rain yet. But I am comfortable that they would survive just fine.

We are planning to return these binoculars. They are very difficult to focus and awkward to use. Though the attached lens caps are supposed to be a "convenience," they are badly designed, getting in the way of the lenses more times than not. The magnification is just so-so for a supposedly 10x42 binoc. Very unclear. We are not impressed. Guess we got what we paid for, will upgrade once the return is processed.

These are the most economic and yet very good binoculars. They have a long range of view and the images are very sharp. Would recommed it to all my friends.

My son says he really likes the adjustable eye rest and the outer rubber coating making for a comfortable and safe feel........and he was very pleased with receiving these as a gift

I ordered these as a gift for my son who enjoys football as well as water activities. The wide angle lenses along with the waterproofing made these the obvious choice. Nice looking, functional product.

Just got these binoculars for our trip to Alaska. We were very happy with them for the money. I would have prefered a lighter weight bino, but I would have given up quality. I would recommend them for traveling and they will be great for hunting

I bought these binoculars for a trip to Alaska with my son, after reading Overstock's purchasing guide. These are perfect for distance viewing in a humid or wet climate since they do not fog over. We saw more wildlife, clearer than anyone else and the compact size was great for both me and my 10 year old. I am thinking of purchasing a second pair so we don't fight over them.

I bought this set of binoculars to replace another set. The waterproof feature was a must. I have not tested them in the water, but it's great to know that feature is there in case they accidentally get wet while we are kayaking. The strap was difficult to attach. The holes for the strap were too small. I had to cut and reseal one end to get it to work. The optics are great. I took back a pair of Nikon binoculars that cost more than double this price of the Rokinon. There was no discernible difference in quality. I do not like the attached lens caps, but it was easy to unscrew the attachment and remove them.

What a great pair of binoculars. It's like high definition even in low light. The best thing about them is their balance. This is the first pair of binoculars I have no problem keeping still while viewing. The delivery was great as well. I ordered them on a Tuesday and received them three days latter.

These are great little binocs that are small enough to be handy and powerful enough to be useful. The coated lenses work well and the viewing adjust is fast. The binocs will be used primarily for wildlife viewing and boating so the waterproof feature will be appreciated. The quality seems to be good and the price from Overstock can't be beaten.

The binoculars are great. We took the binoculars on our trip out west - great for seeing wildlife, etc. The negative is that the strap quickly raveled and we will need to find another.

I purchased these binoculars for a whale watching trip to Hawaii, so I needed them waterproof. Other waterproof binoculars with even lower power were so much more expensive I could not believe it, so I must say I was a little nervous. I am so glad that I bought these binoculars. They work better than I expected and you can't beat the value for the price. The only reason I gave 4 stars on workmanship was due to the front lens covers which could have had a longer attaching strap. Overall, I will say to anyone that is looking for binoculars of this power, you can't go wrong with this one. This was also my first experience with overstock.com and I am also pleased with them.
