The binoculars are great. We took the binoculars on our trip out west - great for seeing wildlife, etc. The negative is that the strap quickly raveled and we will need to find another.

I purchased these binoculars for a whale watching trip to Hawaii, so I needed them waterproof. Other waterproof binoculars with even lower power were so much more expensive I could not believe it, so I must say I was a little nervous. I am so glad that I bought these binoculars. They work better than I expected and you can't beat the value for the price. The only reason I gave 4 stars on workmanship was due to the front lens covers which could have had a longer attaching strap. Overall, I will say to anyone that is looking for binoculars of this power, you can't go wrong with this one. This was also my first experience with overstock.com and I am also pleased with them.

I read a lot about binocculars before I bought these for my husband - and it had all the features the sites recommended. They are not lightweight- but fine for us. The BAK-4 prisms are what binoc sites said to look for, and the 42x10 is the most you can use without a tripod or too much shake in your sights. The second day he saw a piliated woodpecker near our N. FL home- so he was really happy with his gift. They arrived quickly, were the lowest price on the web- I love Overstock!

Just returned from a 5,000 mile car/camping trip across the U.S. I kept these binoculars out and ready whenever I saw wildlife or other areas to view up close. For the price paid, these were great and worked exceptionally well. They are large, regular-sized, which I preferred to the smaller ones.

Use for snooping on the deer, great, do what we want them to do, not going into warfare with them. Sturdy, says they're waterproof.

I got this item for a concert that I didn't have very good seats at. For some reason I expected them to work at a further distance but distance they are no different then any other binocular that I have. But it comes with covers for both ends and a case which was nice. Haven''t used them at night or in the rain yet but they are comfortable hold and easy to adjust.

I can not say enough about the Rokinon binoculars. The quality of glass for the cost is great. My father in-law loved my set so much he had be order him a set. A great quality optic for the cost No Question.

I live on a mountain lake after leaving my binoculars out in the rain twice they were a lost cause. So I shopped for replacements that were waterproof. These are water and fog proof and have proven to be excellent quality. Haven't left them out in the rain yet. But I am comfortable that they would survive just fine.
