Resistance Chair Exercise System (Refurbished)

Happy with product; needed something low impact because of back and neck problems. Came with extra exercise cables. Needed something small because we live in a townhouse, not a long of extra room. Like that it folds up so it can be out of the way but easy to set back up to use.

Was just the thing to jump start some physical activity that didn't require standing. The chair was easy to set up, came nearly assembled. Love it, love it, love it.

Having tried almost every piece of exercise equipment available, i lucked upon this chair that seems made for me. Suffering from acute spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis, firbromylgia and polymylgia rheumatica, I was hard pressed to find something that I could use without winding up in more pain than when I began. Thank you to VQ Action Care for providing this life saving item. It sits in my living room so that my husband can use it also. He is 75..has Parkinsons Disease and has a heart problem. Getting him to do any exercise was impossible...UNTIL we received the Resistance Chair. He is now up to 5 minutes a couple of times a day. Miracles do happen. He can watch TV and still exercise. We have only had the chair for 5 days, what I cannot think of the words to express what a fantastic piece of equipment this is. I was thinking of joining the YMCA, but not now. Exercising in my own home, in private and not having to travel to the Y (gas saver and membership fee saver) makes this item perfect, at least for us. Thank you again to VQ.

I would have given this chair a 5 but the reason I gave it a 4 is the video. You aren't able to obtain any kind of videos to follow along with. For the elderly they sometimes need the guidance unless they can come up with things to do on their own. There is a general video but it goes through the exercises and then you can't remember them. There is also a chart but the writing is so tiny that to put it on the wall you can't read it. The chair is great though. It is a bit heavy if you plan on moving it around a lot, but very sturdy!
