First charge took a few hours, but it was well worth the wait! This plane launched easily into the wind, and it's pretty easy to control once it's in the air. The vented propulsion makes it pretty agile when responding to the controls, probably not the best choice for first-timers without any flying experience, but most people should have no trouble controlling it if they have a little piloting skill. The body is made of hardened foam, like most of the other airplanes of this price level, so if you make a bad mistake and crash an airplane of course it breaks. Attracted a lot of attention when I was flying this at the park =)

I've owned one of these for a while now, I gotta say it's built just like the real thing. I like how the nose is made of soft rubber so it's some-what crash resistant, not like other RC planes that can be totaled in one crash. I use this plane to practice flying, had to replace the wings once(I blame the wind!!) but it was real easy, the body holds up pretty well.

website recommends for 7+ yrs. but box says 14+ yrs - we would NOT recommend - item purchased for grown, responsible adult (30+ yrs old) for Christmas - it broke in first flight - we expected the materials to be mostly lightweight plastic but it is almost completely styrofoam, plus it is very poorly constructed (fragile), especially since it is expected to crash - we'd love to get our money refunded!

I bought this for my husband as a xmas gift. He was so excited because the plane looks great and easy to put together,( asided from the 3 hour charge before you can use it). First attempt to fly the plane, it came crashing down into three parts. Not a happy xmas moment!! Don't waste your time or money!!!! I am sending it back!!!
