I got this item for my kids and they loved it! At first I was a little hesitant because of the warning label. I then did my research and asked Overstock about it and found that most items made with plastics had this label due to the small traces of lead found in many materials...including plastics. I found that this was a law in CA (Prop 65) which forces manufacturers to have this label on their plastic products. Silly that it doesn't happen to any other states, just CA. In any case, I did my research and found that this item was safe for my kids. I always shop at Overstock and I will continue to do so. Great item, great prices...great service! Thanks again!

I got two of these cars so my little boys could race them against each other. In the past, I've bought my kids expensive toys just to find out that they either wreck them in about a month or just get plain bored of it. With this purchase, I definitely felt assured that my money would not go to waste. Although not at the highest quality, these race cars kept my kids entertained and lasted their attention span. I BUY A LOT OF THINGS FROM OVERSTOCK, AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I WAS NOT HAPPY, THE RACE CAR I ORDERED CAME BROKEN. THE FRONT WHEELS WERE LAYING IN THE BOX. BUT I CALLED AND THEY SENT ME A NEW ONE WITHIN DAYS. I HAD NO HASSEL AT ALL , AND THAT WAS NICE. I STILL BUY EVERY WEEK!!!!

I got this for my 3 year-old son. He played with it only twice, because my husband fell in love with it. It gave my husband flash backs of his first remote control car. Now I have to buy two more; another for my son, and another for my daughter. Battery life is horrible for me, but too perfect for the BIG KID, and the two little ones.

One car worked- the other did not. the cars require 6 batteries each- batteries cost almost as much as the car. the cars are fun, though. The return of the non-functioning car was a breeze at Overstocks. I spoke with "Davis" who was very competent.

THE FIRST DAY WE GOT THIS THE ANTENNA SNAPPED OFF ...MADE CHEAP....WASTE OF MONEY ..LOOKS NICE IN PICTURE BUT ITS JUNKY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

This little car has a lot of go power. Batteries last longer than most in remote controlled cars. Eleven year old nephew thought it was awsome fun !

I just bought this for my husband just for a fun gift at Christmas. So easy, you just pop some batteries in and it's ready to go. He loves it! It's nothing fancy, just easy to move around and a fun toy. My son (1 year old) loves it as well, so it's a hit all around. Great for a cheap easy-to-use-no-bells-or-whistles car.

This item seems to be an appropriate gift or toy for a 10 to 12 year old. It is something that could occupy a child for a long time. The only drawback that I see is that you really need to have 2 of these to get the most enjoyment out of it.

I thought this would be a great 2nd gift for my nephews, however, I ended up being disapointed with the quality. The cars were smaller and slower than expected and I did not receive the color of car that I ordered. F.Y.I. if you're in a hurry don't go with the free shipping!

Just the right price and size for my grandchildren. Easy to operate for the age group mentioned on package.

The car is great for my nephew.Who enjoys it very much.The value was great,shipping on time and efficient.Safety was a big worry,but in the end it is safe with adult supervision.Overall I was happy.Now with another order,I had ordered Curious George book series.I got a confirmation number,then with little room to spare was told it was not going to come.I was alittle disappointed,but you did reimburse credit card efficiently.Otherwise I am satisfied with overstock.com.

Bought this for my 5-year-old nephew birthday. He thought it was great. I tried it out before giving it and it worked great. The lights work and it was not difficult to operate. It didn't feel real sturdy so not sure how long it will hold up but for the price it was reasonable. Seemed to work best on hardwood floor. Slow on carpet.

Received it for Christmas, unwrapped it, finally got batteries and it didn't work. The control thing didn't work at all. Of course, if you can't make it go from the controls, the car is worthless. Absolute waste of money.

Unfortunately, it was broken within a few days. BUT he had fun playing with it up until then!

I bought this Race Car for my daughter as a Birthday Gift. Her Birthday Party was 12/29/07. When she opened the gift, the fin on the back of car was broken & when she tried to race the car, it would only go backwards...not forward. She was dissapointed. The instructions that came with the car did not help with this problem.

This car broke within 5 minuites. If you use it in an open parking lot it may be ok. After using it in our backyard we bumped our patio furnature while driving the car. The front wheels are mounted with a 1/8 inch plastic riviot that upon hitting a chair broke instantly making the steering go out. This car is not designed to take the smallest hit. You get what you pay for!
