My nine year old son loves this boat. Salt water causes metal to rust very quickly, so propeller boats were out of the question. This boat is great for use in salt water areas as there are no metal parts that touch the water and the fans are high enough from getting wet. Would like the battery life to be longer - fans start to die out after 20 minutes of use. The boat responds well with the remote control.
