Customer Reviews
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend in college. I like it because it was a decently priced 3 channel helicopter that can go forward/backward (as opposed to the 2 channel ones with only go up/down and left/right). The reviews made it sound like a sturdy helicopter and with my budget, I could not afford to buy a warranty, so I tried to get the most stable thing. The helicopter look and flies great, but it is not the sturdiest thing. The description talks about it being half-metal; I have no idea where that metal is. Perhaps they were refering to the lithium in the battery. The only major concerns in terms of stability are that when the helicopter battery is fully charged, it goes up FAST and can hit the ceiling. Also, I would only fly is where you had carpet, to help cushion any crash landings. If you can, I would also suggest you get the warranty, just in case. Definitely a fun toy though, and my boyfriend loves it.
I bought this for my son for Christmas. My husband found it and felt the need to check it out before our son opened it. It took him a few minutes to manuever it, but he had way too much fun! I am a little concerned about the blades holding up, but my husband is making me buy him one now. I would suggest buying rechargable batteries as the remote takes 6 AA and the helicopter plugs into the remote to charge.
I've been flying this around for several weeks and been crashing it for several weeks and it's still holding up. I have to admit though, one of the blades is missing a small piece but it still flies just fine. I think the folding blades have prevented the the main rotor from getting any serious damage. Still having a blast with it.

I bought this helicopter for my 10 year old son for Christmas. It has great movement and he thoroughly enjoyed playing with it. I dare say it was one of his favorite gifts. The only problem is the fragility of the copter blades. They are so fragile and thin they have broken numerous times even when falling down on a thickly carpeted area. Great to play with but don't except it to hold up.
