My husband and I sell bread at the Farmer's Market every summer, and it was time to invest in a tent. I researched the tents, and chose this one due to the design and the promotion that it does better in the wind. We have sustained winds of up to 35 mph. very often, and in the summer, we get strong winds in the afternoon with a typical rain shower. I didn't expect the tent to hold up on it's own through that strong of wind, and it didn't. My husband had to hold on to it the first market, and the 2nd market we had weights to hold it in place. I can't give a fair review on that, due to the strength of the winds.
On another note, the red canopy draws attention at the market, and sun shade helps with the sun and keeping things very cool beneath the tent. Setting up is a breeze, and while I am not sure you could do it with one person, two get it up in about a minute or two once you know what you are doing. You simply grab hold on two sides, walk backwards, then lift the top frame up to lock. Next is locking the legs at the height you want, securing weights if you need them, and WA LA!
We are not able to use the stakes provided to secure the tent, as rules do not allow us to put anything into the ground at the sight we are at. It is possible that if we had use of the stakes, we wouldn't need use of the weights.
We're highly satisfied, and I would recommend this to a friend. It really helps to keep you cool and suffices for small sales or if you were having a cook out! It would also be a good thing for tailgate parties. : )
