Bought this tent a few years ago and it has seen a lot of trips with me and my daughter. I am a big guy, so if I was going with another adult I would take a 3-man, but for me and an 11 year old it is perfect. Fly is very flexible, can set it up for full coverage or for cross breeze. Favorite thing? Each person gets their own door and storage area. Wish I had got this deal from O.Com before paying full price. Might have to buy another one as a gift.Read More
The quality of tent is very nice and I was really impressed, however we took it camping twice and both times packed up in the middle of the night and went home because we were miserable. The sleeping compartment is only 3 feet across, so two people have to sleep head-to-foot of each other and even then are still brushing the walls and hitting each other when you move - and very HOT! The weather was a comfortable 60-degrees at night, but inside the tent it was too hot to even use a light blanket. It makes a roomy 1-person tent, or maybe a person+dog or person+small child, but was way too tight for 2 adults. I wish overstock had a more relaxed return policy on tents, because I knew we didn't want to keep it after the first trip.Read More

How to Choose a Tent
It can be so great to be out in nature camping, roasting marshmallows and gazing up at the stars. But after a day full of the outdoors, it's time to retire to your home away from home, your tent. It won't give you all the conveniences of home, but a tent should keep you dry and protected from critters while you sleep. It should also hold most of your camping gear and give you a place to go if the weather isn't cooperating. So buy a tent hoping you will only sleep in it, but also buy a tent that will be comfortable to be awake in as well.
