Got item then saw it much cheap at the local store. darn. Item works...ok. bigger bugs seem to just spark and burn slow. It made me girlfriend cry.
It worked very good for two days then would not recharge.
As far as bug zappers go, it worked really good, but about 1 week after it was delivered, I went to remove the battery pack to charge it and the piece that holds it in place broke off. The only way you can still use it is by attaching a locking wrench to the end of it which makes the handle heavy. Tape doesn't work because it's not that tight.
It works, and it's fun!! Zap those bugs - love it!

this is the worst product to come out of China!! It is my third swatter. I need it for our business (bakery) and it does work 50% of the time but the recharge does not last long (5-10 min at most) it sucks but I really need to use it and now I am on my 4th one in just 2 months!!! If you don't really need it stay away!

We have a cabin in the woods, and mosquito season is challenging. We had a product like this awhile back, but in a move the chargers were misplaced. So when I saw these I was hopeful, as I'd recently purchased a battery operated one that stunk. But this one works great. I charged it when it arrived, and haven't recharged for at least a week.

I charged it for the recommended time and it worked for about three seconds before it died. I charged it again for 24 hrs and it worked for four seconds. it's a piece of crap. I have another similar device with non-rechargable battries. They last for years.

This is a great product! I live in Florida and spend a lot of time out on my screened-in porch. Whenever pesky mosquitos manage to make it through an open door, they now have no chance--since this rechargeable "bug-zapper" has started to greet them. Light-weight. . .easy to use. . .gets the job done. . .at a great price. Also has an LED light, which comes in handy after the sun goes down.
I ordered the bug zapper for my father for his birthday. He absolutely loves it. He'll just sit ouside for hours zapping insects! He also takes it camping which it is perfect for. I highly recommend this product. Its lots of fun and is a very good price.
My granddaughters are absolutely terrified of bees (to the point of screaming at the top of their lungs whenever they see one), so I got each of them one of these "racquets." I was afraid the zappers would be difficult for the girls, who are 5 and 3, to operate, because the user must hold down a button on the zapper handle whenever s/he wants to kill a bug. But they had no trouble using the zappers, and the fact that the bugs died quickly -- and with a nice, satisfying "zzzt!" -- pleased the girls very much. They're no longer as freaked out by flying creatures, and they seem to feel much more confident about their ability to deal with such pests. (Of course, they use the zappers only when adults are around.)
In the short time that I've had this product, I have effectively used it on spiders, flying ants, mosquitos, and roaches. It is just what I wanted in terms of a clean, non-chemical way of killing unwelcome insects.
I have lived in Arkansas for just over two years. Being a native from Chicago I never saw the bugs that come out at night so big as they are down here flying around your head. This device works very well and is very easily used in the evening as it has a rather large contact area. I am impressed as some bugs that come out at night can actually chase you in the house as you can not see or kill them. Not any more!
Got this for my husband and our backyard. He loves it! It is a lot of fun to swat bugs, which are everywhere in south Louisiana. Perfect gift for that person who has everything. I'm going to buy another one for my brother in law for his birthday.
I bought this product specifically for flies and this zapper works as advertised. You swat the fly with the button held down and you will hear a pop and see sparks as it is shocked. The only problem I had with mine is that it charges best in a horizontally mounted outlet. When I put it in a vertically mounted outlet, the charging light would not come on unless I positioned it just right. I've had fun with this product and it works great, so I would recommend it to anyone.
the zapper that i purchased works as described, now all i need to do is see how long this product last.
not as effective as advertised, small bugs aren't easily zapped.
I ordered two of the bug zappers. One of the zappers zapped bugs and the other one only zapped my wallet as it was a dud...
We love chasing the flies with our new Zapper - It makes taking those pesky little critters out of environment interesting!
We could only zap 2 bugs with it and believe me, EVERYONE tried! LOL I held it straight over an outdoor trash can and caught nothing. The concept is good, it just needs something to attract the flies. They fly away as soon as you start waving it around. You can't actually slap the flies with it, it will break. I knew that buying it, but thought it would at least zap some flies. It will, IF you can catch them and convine them to go into the netted area! LOL Save your money and buy a bug zapper that hangs up and attacts the insects. This doesn't work because the bugs won't go near it with a ten foot pole! LOL
I was skeptical about this one, but I took it to northern Minnesota camping, and it works great!!!! It gave me something to do while waiting for the fish to bite. I will take it with me everywhere!!!!
