I bought this for my 10 month old grandson who is just beginning to walk. HIs home is all tile and Santa is bringing him a little ride-on vehicle for in-home use. Good time for him to get used to wearing a helmet when riding any "wheels". This helmet came with adjustment pads to insure a proper fit. Sturdy, adjustable chn strap. I feel this will be a greta helmet for the next year or two.
