A casual rider, who sometimes uses the bike on good days going to work. The helmet is perfect. Used it when I went to Daytona Bike Week. No headaches or stress points when I arrived. Great, Great, Great. Seventy years young and still riding. Everything needs to be perfect for me and it was. Highly recommend.

This is a very good buy for someone wanting a helmet with good protection and a modest price. Only drawback I found was the chinstrap used rings instead of snaps, which takes a little longer to fasten.

I personally did not care for the removeable visor, but some may really like that feature. The helmet is great for those easy rides, when safety is important, but there is no danger of any debris flying up in your face. For an atv-er, it works well, but face protection is needed usually. I thought I woulld like the little sun protection, but quite frankly, I prefer safety glasses with sun protection.

Actually this is for my bicycle, I'm sorry, but those space cadet bicycle helmets you see at Wallyworld just don't cut it. I want my ears, forehead, and the back of my head covered or I just won't bother with a helmet. I have owned motorcycles and always wore a fiberglas helmet. The Raider is probably good for 30MPH or less. Be a great go-cart helmet. What a price! I've applied reflective pin striping which shows up nice in the dark.

For a cheap, basic motorcycle helmet it would be hard to get a better deal than the Raider Open Face Helmet through Overstock.com. This helmet appears to be just as well-made and just as good-looking as the last helmet I bought, probably 7 or 8 years ago, at only two-thirds the price. If you want something more substantial you'll have to pay more for it. If you want a usable helmet without wasting money this should do it.
