Light weight, power and stiff. The most important thing is the great price with free shipping charged at Overstock.com. I will buy more from it.

I am at the turning point between beginner and intermediate and I have been looking for something similar to replace my previous old willison racket. This one is a lot lighter than my previous 15 year old racket, yet not the lightest with all the latest technology. The reason i kept the old one for this long is because, 1) that was a gift from my dad when i was 10. 2) althought it is heavy, i like the leverage on power it provided. This new racket is not as powerful as the old one i had, yet with its weight, it does provide reasonable amount of leverage. It also has a decent size of sweet spot, yet not too over whelming and will give you reasonable amount of control as well. And it comes with a black and white colour of tennis bag (fit one racket and 4 balls) for friendly use and storage. FYI, i am a 5'4" lady and i find the

  • Great racquet for developing players

This is my current preferred racquet. It's described as a "tweener" racquet, offering a balance of power and control. It fits that description wonderfully. If you're a 2.5 to 4.0 player and want a racquet that doesn't go too far in any style, then this is a great choice. It has a 102 sq in head, which is not "oversized" but on the larger side of midplus. I find it very forgiving on off-center hits. It still supplies a good amount of power and just enough control that my shots don't sail (unless I mis-hit).

  • Great racquet for more advanced players

First, I'll say that I've played with a Head LiquidMetal 4, so that's what I'll compare this to. Bottom line: if you are strong and supply your own power to your strokes this is a good choice. If not, consider the oversized or Pro version of this racket. This is not my preferred racquet, but that's because it doesn't currently fit my playing style. The LM4 is better-suited to players in the 3.0-4.0 levels because it is heavier, has a larger face and will produce more power. This Head MG Radical Midplus is a great control racquet. With the more closed (18x20) string patter and the 98 sq in head size it will allow you to very precisely control ball placement. The problem for developing players (of which I am one) is that you need to supply the power to keep your shots deep and to give your serves and overheads "snap". Also, because it has a more open 16x19 string pattern, I find that the LM4 with nylon produces as much spin as the MG with the stock poly strings. Last night I went back ...
