Good quality steel tubing, hradware and stiching on pad. Bench is light. Max weight is 400lbs. I am 155lb, so I can only safely bench 245lb on this bench. I'm not there yet but there is a limit. Pad held on by two bolts through frame, could use more, should be held on by two bolts through frame into pad plus four bolts on two different flat straps running across the tubing.
