I took a chance on this one, not knowing it's exact brand on overstock's details. I'd read that some fitness balls had a horrendous odor, but couldn't believe it could be this bad. This turns out to be a "bFit" brand. I washed it and aired it out outside, let it get rained on too... its odor has lessened somewhat, making it at least usable, so far outdoors only. don't know how i'll tolerate it indoors come winter. i risked this choice thru overstock because a 45 cm size was hard to find elsewhere. i would have returned it if overstock had not called it a 'no return item'. i've tried two other brands, so i know they do not have to smell this bad. sorry, cannot recommend this brand.
