My wife and I had purchased the Proform 800 less than a year ago. My wife and I have been using it for less than a year until it broke down. The warranty is only for 90 days and I think that is how long they thought the elliptical would last. Initially we both thought it would be a great addition to our home gym and a few months ago we both started using it. We both experienced hip pain because the device never seems to be able to be balanced properly. Additionally since the base is very narrow it will move from side to side as it was being used and that is very uncomfortable as well. My advice avoid it save the $600 or so and save up for a higher quality elliptical.

I have been on-line comparing products and discovered walmart has this product cheaper. But if you get the credit card deduction of 30.00 and plus extra saving this is a good buy from over-stock. Just have been noticing that the price on here are not as cheap as it use to be. But again What is not going up in cost!
