I needed a set of boxing gloves and headgear so I could spar with my son. This seemed like a nice packaged product for the price. The gloves are smaller than comparable 16 oz gloves at the gym. Maybe they are 16 oz total weight, and not 16 oz of padding? I did not weight them. They are perfect for what I was looking for.... a decent set of gloves and headgear for a reasonable price. I am a not a pro fighter, just a father trying to teach his son a thing or two about moving around in the ring.

• How accurate was the sizing? pretty accurate. they seem smaller than the 16oz gloves I used many years ago, but overall they are fine.
