It's just okay
This one is sitting in my drawer. I had to buy a different one that does the heart rate, calorie count and more. If you are not really into heavy exercise and knowing exactly what your body is doing, this is okay. I however, would not buy this one again. Spend a little more and get the better quality. It will be worth it.

Good, basic HR monitor.
In my opinion Pulsar is the best manufacturer for HR monitors. I like the one with all the bells and whistles but didn't want to spend that much.

I was looking for a simple heart rate monitor. The Polar FT1 fit the bill. 1. The watchband is soft and comfortable. 2. The display is easy to read. 3. The chest strap fits snug and is comfortable. 4. Operation is flawless. Polar manufactures a solid product, period.
