A bit different from what is pictured - the roof and awing are a solid color, no "rug" under the table/chairs, the one I received says "ESPRESSO CAFE" on the awning, the door doesn't swing open - it hangs and has velcro tabs along the sides but can be rolled up, and the graphics on either side of and under the window are missing. The mesh window for ventilation is on the side wall, not the back wall. It is big enough to fit a few kids in, or even a play kitchen. It took about 10 minutes to easily put together - better to do with 2 people. Overall, a satisfied parent and very happy daughter.

I purchased this for my 6 year old. Setup (very easy): Santa set it up started around 3:30 and by 4:00 everything was up and ready. Instructions were on point. Design: It looks just like the picture. I was concerned that it would be too small for my daughter - I am 5ft 7 and i can stand up in the house. It is too cute. (*There is no material for the bottom of the house it is completely open) Sturdy: Product is made of the same material (but i believe a little lighter) than that for tents. Cloth fastens to velcro to hold each of the plastic frames for the roof, floor, door, awning, and two front poles. If your kids don't tug on the thing it should last for a few years however; with much wear and tear; in and out of the door---you may find that it could wear fast and the velcro may need to be restitched. Overall My daughter has been in and out of the thing every day from Christmas until yesterday when we had to take it down---due to the fact that it was taking up too much living room space;') It will be well suited for a backyard but the material is not weatherized---so maybe a covered backyard will work fine. I purchased her a cash register and she added our existing chairs and a few other household items. It is just like a little cafe.... it will bring lots of fun for many many days to come!

My grandkids just love the cafe. Their kitchen pieces fit inside with room to spare. It is a chore to set up and take down so I would not recommend if you want a quick pop up type of tent. The cafe is not as pictured nor does it have a "swing" open door as described. But overall for kids who love to play pretend restaurant, and if you have the room (does occupy a lot of space) it's a good deal.

We bought this for our grandson's first birthday and he loves it! The grandchildren that are a little older join him in playing with this, and it is holding up very well despite all the exuberant treatment. We also appreciate the fact that there are no characters or lettering on this product, just bright solid colors. And it packs away so easily when the kids are done with it.

We purchased this for my 6yr old for her birthday. She absolutely loved it! She put her play kitchen and play food inside and still had plenty of room. Even my 8yr old enjoys playing with it! Only negative is that the poles that connect to the awning can get easily knocked down. We fixed this by using little plastic cones as the base. Just put the poles through the holes in the top of the cones. Quick and easy to put together and very cute detailing on the tent. Great purchase.

My 4yo loves this. She and her friends sit inside and color, play with cat, etc. It was a great gift idea.

Purchased the indoor/outdoor tent for a nephew and had it dropped shipped. His mother tells me he loves it. Easy to set up--I may order one for my grandson.

1st off I don't usually do reviews and i definitely do not complain, i did not send the product back and did not send a nasty email to customer service.. I saw this request to review this morning and felt obligated. This was our 1st time using overstock and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. We raised funds for my son's pre-k program to build a play yard. I felt like this play house would be perfect and would not only look great but hold up for a while. Once received the box was in shambles and i was afraid their were missing pieces as the delivery guy was shoving pieces back in upon delivery. ( I get that this is a ups issue). I would have sent it back had we not been working so hard to get this play yard done and on time for the kids and this being the final piece. When we opened the box to start building we noticed that the quality of the wood (if you can call it that) was terrible and the pieces were held together by staples...staples that did not hold. We had to rebuild the door and all the roof pieces. Once we started to build it seemed almost as if someone had tried before and returned the product not to mention nothing really lined up. Thanks to 2 very handy dad's we got the playhouse built and somewhat reinforced. The door nob was missing and some other parts/screws. All in all after the product was put together i have doubts that it will even last the school year. I would not recommend at all.

This is a fun toy to use in many different ways. Toddlers love to shake balls, and hide under Older kids like to use for exercise

Very good quality. It should hold up to a lot of play with my two kids. Of course like any ball pit or tunnel 100 balls is not enough, buy extra. This was a huge hit Christmas morning. The only thing I would complain about is that it is a little expensive for just a tunnel and 100 balls, but the fun factor and quality make up for it.

Note that this tent is put together with a series/framework of metal poles that slide into each other and randomly pop out while the kids are playing in it. It's a really cute prodeuct but it is not made well at all. Ours had a rip in the bottom seam by the end of Day 1 of play. By middle od Day 2 the pole framework system was popping loose at random.

my coupe tent was different than the picture shows. I did not recieve 4 poles and this car does not have any windows except for 1 small one on the top. My kids 3 & 6 did not seem to notice, but this is not as large I imagined.

I got this tent for my 2 year old and 4 year old for Christmas. They LOVE it. It was super easy to put together, a good size, and well built. It is far sturdier than other tents out there. My only complaint is that it is meant to be staked down. However, I would not use it outside since it is so nice. It slips and slides on hardwood floors. We improvised and put some pillows inside the tent and have it in the kids' bedroom on carpeted floors without a problem. This is a great tent and a good value.

It was bigger than I expected, but my kids eyes lit up when they saw it. The house pops right open, out of the box. My 3 year old can stand up in it and both my children think it's great that it has 2

We have one for our 4 year old and it's in purple and pink, then we figured to get the exact same one for our 2 year old but in different color. They both love their castles, and they put their favorite things in them. Each one is only big enough for maybe 2, 3 tops, toddlers, but with all the things they put in it, 2 is max number of people. It is very easy to set up and take down, and even when it's set up, it's easy to carry from one room to the other b/c how light it is. And the style/ color/ size is exactly like the picture shown. The price is also so much better than the other play tents/ castles out there. I highly recommend it.

This is a great play tent, sets up instantly right out of the box. Instant hit, too, with the 1 year olds, and I'm sure for several years to come. Large enough for several kids to play at once, and full-size adults can sit comfortably in it as well. Only problem--the instructions are worthless on how to fold it back up. We still haven't figured it out (although we haven't really tried too hard). We purchased plastic balls to transform it into a ball pit.

This is a cute playhouse. I didn't want to go the plastic Little Tikes route, and this seemed like the most economical wood option. The quality of the materials is decent. Assembly takes a while and some of the pilot holes aren't perfectly located, but its not too bad. My biggest complaint is that its a little smaller than it looks in the pictures. The footprint is not square like it looks in the pictures. The wall with the window in the above photo is actually a good bit narrower than the wall with the front door. Its big enough for 2 or 3 kids to play, but you won't be fitting a table or a kitchen set very easily.
Pretend play helps kids express their feelings, lets them develop language skills as they create make-believe scenarios, and provides an opportunity for social development as they play cooperatively. It's important to let children direct themselves to get the most out of pretend play, but their creativity gets a jumpstart when they have the best pretend play toys. Kids will start engaging in pretend play at 2 or 3 years old, and most of these toys would be good Christmas gifts for kids ages 2 to 8.
The time spent with your family is often the most rewarding time of the day. Make the most of the time you spend with your spouse and kids by having fun together. This doesn't mean you have to splurge on amusement parks and pizza nights. Instead, try having a little fun right in your own backyard.
Whether you're moving into a new house or you're just redecorating your child's bedroom, consider adding a loft bed. This type of bed adds function and usable space to a bedroom, perfect when you don't have a lot of square footage or if two kids will share a bedroom. With all of the benefits, loft beds just may be the bedroom furniture you need.
Are you looking for the hottest toys for Christmas? Whether you're shopping for the perfect gift for your son, grandson, or nephew, you'll want to give him something that will provide hours of fun and spark his creativity. As your children grow, they'll need toys and activities to help them learn, develop their motor skills, and stimulate their imaginations. Learning and educational toys are perfect for children over the age of 4, and there are many toys that combine fun with basic academic and social skills.
The perfect list of what to take on a trip to the beach depends on who is coming and how long you'll be staying. For example, if you and your significant other are going to the beach alone, you will most likely bring far less than if you were bringing your entire family. Packing more things in your luggage than you think you'll need will ensure that your beach trip never has a dull moment.
There are a lot of things you can lose sleep over, but finding the perfect air bed shouldn't be one of them. Unfortunately, many people find the process of air bed shopping complicated and end up purchasing a bed that doesn't entirely suit them. This air bed buying guide will help you figure out how to buy an air bed that will let you get the rest you deserve.
