Bought it for my niece's birthday. Had it shipped straight to her. My brother called raving about the quality of the product. Said she plays with it all the rime. She likes to "chop" the food. Never disappointed with overstock.

The kids loved these, especially the noise made by "cutting" the fruit.

It's a fine product, but I assumed it was bigger fruit. I knew when it came in this little box, that it wasn't what I expected. Of course I could have read more about it before buying. My daughter has some of the "Melissa and Doug" brand, and it's larger items.

I purchased this to go along with the kitchen for my niece's birthday and I could hear her on the phone "cutting" up her food for dinner. Absolutely wonderful idea for creative and fun play!

This is a nice quality set! It's really cute and well made. I like that its not too big. The board and knife were great extras. My two year old played with it all day on the day we received it! The price point was pretty average but I liked the variety of this one better than others that I have seen. The colors are very vibrant and interesting. It would have been nice if vegetables were included in the set and I don't really understand why the strawberry couldn't have been cut up too.

I purchased this for my 2 year old. She LOVES it! The quality of the product is just a bit under the Melissa and Doug wooden toys but not much. The knife that comes with this is a bit light but doesn't seem like it will break easy. My only real complaint is the set is much smaller than I expected. I imagined it would be the size of the Melissa and Doug cutting set but it is half the size. The items to cut are not too small to use or for your child to have fun with but for the price you can get a larger sized set. It also contains a strawberry that does not come apart. I really didn't see the point in this. If you can get this at a bargain it is worth it but if it is $15.00 or more try a Melissa and Doug set.

I bought two of these sets for my grand daughters and they loved it! As a new grandma I look for American made toys and very pleased with Doug and Melissa toys. The concept of part to whole, fractions and relating it to food is very educational for a young child. The little velcro tabs is a great 21st century invention. I only wish Overstock had more D & M selection as I bought the "sushi set " elsewhere later. The price and shipping made this a worthwhile purchase and when one delivery went missing the Overstock Chatline Help asap and a new one sent as a replacement. I am finding the Chatline far easier than emailing with questions.

I gave this as a gift. I was told that the child really enjoyed it, and told everyone about the fruit salad being made in the kitchen.

Bought this for my grandson and he loves it!! It has brought him hours of fun, It's super sturdy, colors are great, Velcro is of good quality and the fact that it comes in it's own storage box is even better. This will be a toy that lasts years.

I purchased this set for my 4 yr old granddaughter who is "all about cooking". I haven't had the chance to see it out of the package, but from what I could tell it looked well-constructed. It was much smaller than I had expected, but overall I was pleased with it. I think my granddaughter will have many hours of fun playing with it.

I was disappointed with the amount of food contained in the package- the picture showed many more pieces included. It was not worth the money I paid.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. She is always wanting to help me in the kitchen, and this set has made her feel grown up. She loves to "cut" the fruit apart and feels like she is all grown up!I love that it doesn't take up much space. The paint quality is great and the details are really cute. This should last us for many years!

I was presently surprised at the great quality of these items. My preschool students have played with them everyday for over two months and the paint still looks great and the Velcro works as well as it did out of the box. I also like the storage container that it comes in. It makes cleanup a breeze.

It's OK. Not as nicely constructed or painted as Haaba or M&D. Not worth the price.
