Our 4 year old grandson loves this. It was better than expected, and is scaled perfectly for him. I'd buy another one without hesitation.
I bought the combo pizzaria and cafe tents for my son (7 yrs). I put my son's kitchen sets in there and we had a table and chairs outside... just like the picture. We homeschool so we can use the cafe as part of our homeschool activities. The setup was hard to do by myself. It took me nearly 30 mins to do it all by myself. The structure is bigger than I expected. I haven't setup pizzaria yet. So far, we both love it and he played with his friends when they came over and they love it as well.
finally put this up today and used the CAFE tent (vs the extra pizzeria one) and my kids LOVE it and have played with it nonstop. We set up a small table inside with one chair, and a small storage unit which holds all the food. We made pretend menus (Microsoft Word has free menu templates) and open/closed signs which stick onto the outer (covered) poles with a magnet clip. I had to drag my kids out of there tonight. Their friends love it too. We had one child pose as a food inspector and later as a food reviewer, with lots of fun scenarios. The little aprons that come with it (2) are very cute. I love this product and would buy it again!! We set it up in our dining room but it doesn't take up too much space so it could easily go into a playroom, right now our playroom is too packed! It's the perfect size for little people (ideal for kids no bigger than 5 years old) but older kids can squeeze in there as well as adults, you just have to go on your knees to get thru the doorway and then it's fine -- tight fit, but adorable!
I have two daughters (4 and 18months) who LOVE this product. They play in it for hours. For the price and as fast as it arrived it is definately worth the money. I wanted to get a playhouse for my girls but did not want to spend alot of money. The greatest part is that you can slide it under a bed if you don't want it up anymore. The only reason I put 4 stars is because of the flimsy poles in front of the pizzaria. Other than that my kids love the other extras like the music with the pizzaria and the aprons with the cafe. I would definately recommend this product.
My daughter loves this. It is almost 7 ft. tall inside, so it does not feel small at all. It's roomy enough for a small kids table/chairs inside. The poles to put it up are light - it sure wouldn't survive a stiff breeze. But, in a protected spot it's great fun. The only thing I wish is that the canopy poles didn't fall down. On the Cafe there is a "floor" piece that extends under the canopy and with a few velcro dots we were able to attach the poles to the floor so that they didn't fall. But on the pizzeria, there is no floor, and the poles for the canopy are free standing - and a slight touch knocks them down and then the canopy comes down to cover the front door. This did frighten my daughter a few times, but now it's just an annoyance, so we're mainly using the cafe cover. Also, I have set this up myself, but it is definitely easier with a helper!
