Good bargain for the money. Only issue I have had is bail is very stiff and doesn't like to close on first crank. I just shut it by hand--no biggie. Smooth casting and retrieve. Can't speak to longevity--haven't had it but 2 months but it has gotten plenty of use. Seems like a good solid little reel for the price.

I was pleasently surprised at the quality of the reel, I haven't tried it to the extent of catching a fish yet.but just casting in my back yard it seems to work well. The real test comes next week when trout season opens here in Oregon. stay tuned!!
