I live on the beach and bought pair for myself. Then all my friends saw them and wanted me to order them a pair. So far I think I have bought 5 or 6 pair. Please send my commissions ... just kidding. I will take a gift card you do that kinda thing or promo code . Some companies will do that. Anyway ..great product and very easy to order through Overstocked. Thanks, Joe
I couldn't find any information online about "Perrini" brand, so I figured these were probably just some no-name Chinese binoculars. For a pair that was less than ***, I figured I could take a chance, and not have to buy some $200 real name-brand. The order arrived quickly and well packaged, but as I suspected, the product packaging was about as generic as they come, no brand name 'Perrini' on the box anywhere. I open the box, and my nose is assaulted by that chemical toxic stench that only China-made products seem to have (I never get that from Japanese or even Taiwanese products). As for the actual binoculars, they actually do feel very solid in my hands. The diopter adjustment and the field of view adjustments move very smoothly. The clarity of the view is excellent. Very bright and crystal clear. The front lens caps are attached to the hosing, so they won't get lost. The eyepiece covers however, seem a tad too flimsy and aren't tethered, so I'm sure those will got lost sooner than later. The strap and the carry case are included, but aren't anything to get excited about either, very minimally basic. HOWEVER, my biggest complaint is that these ARE NOT 20x60 as advertised. AT MOST, the magnification is ONLY 10x, a far cry from the purported 20x. As a result, a tripod or support is not needed, there is absolutely no shaking problem viewing anything by hand. I'll probably keep this pair, they're nice enough, but I'll stick with a name brand or something I can try out before I buy, in order to get 20x magnification. Don't bother getting these if you're trying to find 20x binoculars.
