These are the best cases you can buy for what ever you want to ship or move. I have 2 of them for my rifles and I can ship them transport them and have even dropped them and no damage to inside of case or what was in case. They are heavy duty. Pelican will replace or fix at no cost. I am not sure what you would have to do to this case to break it. I have talked with many in the military and they ship guns, ammo, test equipment and tools all over the world and they do not break or get damaged. As a matter of fact when you buy some brand new rifles they come with this case with pre cut foam for the rifle. The SOA guys buy them and use them for a reason.

Extreme Shipping Container! Bought this for checking a long neck banjo as baggage on airline flights. Foam is a three layer sandwich; can cut out the middle layer to fit the stored product. The directions supplied are helpful; i.e. using an electric knife to cut the foam and using spray contact adhesive to glue the bottom two layers after cutting. Haven't shipped the banjo yet but the case is very durable (I can stand on it) and I expect it will function very well. Price on Overstock was the lowest around by far.
