THIS WORKED OUT WELL, I USED THIS FOR MY HUSBANDS' FRAMED PAINTINGS; I NEEDED SOME WAY TO STORE THEM..I STILL NEED STORAGE FOR FRAMES THAT EXCEED THIS WIDTH(ATLEAST 30'+)...HOPEFULLY THEY (OVERSTOCK OR ANOTHER COMPANY WILL COME UP WITH WHAT I NEED. BUT THIS WORKED OUT VERY WELL.
I was excited to find this product. However, upon receiving it, I realized quickly that although it will do the job, the middle rails rattle as they are not a tight fit. Also, for the price, it's just a bunch of metal bars screwed together. I think this would be a good buy if it were around $30.00 instead.
I bought this bike stand as a theft deterrent, and although the stand is very solidly built and and looks very nice, I don't see how it will deter anyone except for the flightiest of thieves. First of all, it's not very heavy, so if there were only one or two bikes locked on it, a pair of thieves could fairly easily pick up the whole thing and load it into a truck to be dismantled later. Secondly, the hardware is all easily visible and accessible - with a standard #10 wrench, even a child could take the rack apart and take the bikes off.
