shootermac from UT, Rating:4.0These are some nice tactical pants. The charcoal color is really nice and doesn't scream tactical. Location and number of pockets is good, although the rear pockets are pretty deep, which made me adjust my wallet location to the cargo pocket. I love the cell phone front pocket which is accessible while sitting down. The reinforcements on the front and rear pockets for a clip knife is a nice addition as is the D ring for a lanyard if you need it. While the inseam length is sufficient if I had to buy again I would go one size longer since these like to ride a bit high above the shoe when you sit down. Waist size is slightly smaller than my jean size, same fit as dockers or other khakis, so if you are going to carry inside the waist band you may want to go a size larger than normal for the extra space. The fabric being partially synthetic is light weight, comfortable, stain resistant and good for hot temps, but is slightly noisier than 100% cotton. Shrinkage after the first wash/dry cycle...

halleyguy from Long Beach Peninsula, WA, Rating:2.0This has to be the weirdest product I've ever bought. On the plus side is that the fleece is thick and warm, the trousers well-constructed. The problem is the design. (Are these what "military pants" are?) There's no front zipper. (Is this a unisex item?) You have to put on the pants by unzipping and rezipping both sides and then fastening the Velcro straps at the top of the zippers at both sides of the waist. Also, there are no belt loops through which to pass and hold a belt to keep the pants on firmly. And with no front zipper, to do one's business, one must unfasten the belt, unzip the pants at both sides, and then repeat the process of rezipping, re-Velcroing and rebuckling the belt. Very strange product!
