I didn't use the belt that it came with, instead I hooked on my webbed gear. I used it twice so far. The tube are a good size but aren't spring loaded. The tube top locks on pretty good. The product should have a way to position the carrier verticaly or horizantal on the belt. The belt is also sturdy.
