I would have expected the seat to have more cushion. After about 1 hour of constant sitting, it becomes a bit uncomfortable. It has great back suport, I guess I was just expecting total support for the paid price!!!!!!

Good knife to carry so if you loose it or mar it up you wont care. Blade needs to be resharpened upon purchase.

I really like the size and proportions of this backpack. I hike , climb, and backpack regularly and having panel access is really nice. At 6'3" it's nice that the pack fits tree length of my back. I don't think that it is overly long by any stretch but it's cool that the hip - belt isn't around my bellybutton like on my Kat pack. I am not a fan of the water bottle nets and find them to be too shallow for standard Nalgenes. I have to clip my bottles to the cinch straps for security (my wife's Approach 30 has the same issue). When the pack arrived one of the zippers was gapped rendering the side panel useless. I had bought it for a trip and already sold my last pack so I contacted Overstock and they gave me the green light to use it anyway and then mail it back when I returned. Meanwhile they dispatched a replacement so that I wouldn't have to wait. Unbelievable customer service. I am definitely a fan. I just wish that Mountainsmith would fix the two issues that I encountered.
