  We have not used them in weather yet, but this set is made very well of excellent fabric. They are not lightweight and will keep you warm. If you want something light for the tropics and warm water, this might not be the set for you; but I hate to be wet and cold. They are made of heavy Cordura fabric with Teflon. The bends (arms and legs) are contour stitched for comfort and ease. There is a zipper flap on the jacket and while a brighter color would be better -- the hood is bright (NEON) chatreuse. Double velcro closures at the cuffs of the jacket and velcro closures at the cuffs on the pants leg. As well made, or better made, than all the high-end sailing brands. I ordered one set and was so impressed that I ordered a second and posted it on my sailing forum.

  Very pleased with jacket. For price it compared well with the other brands. Very light and warm. One heads up - this jacket does not have any inside pockets for storage.

  I must say I was a bit skeptical since this jacket was only around $XX dollars. However, once I got it, I was amazed. A jacket of this quality could easily be sold for $XXX dollars. The jacket is fully waterproof with so many pockets I can't even count, both inside and out. This is very useful to put many things in them, both large and small items. In addition, the sleeves are an adjustable perfect fit, so air does not blow up your sleeves. It is comfortable to wear and not so heavy which allows for mobility. However, most importantly, it keeps you incredibly warm, allowing very little air to escape the jacket once zipped and snapped. If you live in a cold part of the world, or planning to travel somewhere very cold, I would highly recommend this jacket, especially for the price!

  • How accurate was the sizing? The size for me was pretty accurate. I stand 5'8" and about 180 lbs and it fit almost perfectly. However, what is great about this jacket is you can adjust the back to fit tighter around your waist. You can also adjust the hood as well to fit your head perfectly.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality is superb. It keeps you very warm, comfortable to wear and you can move around in it.

  parka while made from great materal smelled like it had been laying in a damp basement. smell would not leave and zipper was defective

  I really liked this jacket. the color is just what I wanted. I am a medium with a bit longer torso and arms, and I'm on the thin side. This jacket was just a bit too large in the waste area and just a little too short for my taste. I'm about 6'0. Reluctantly I returned it.
