Gave it to my neighbor's 18 month old. He plays with this all the time. It is cheap but it is meant for a child and well worth the price.

My seven year old LOVES his new sandbox. He had the larger turtle sandbox before and he enjoys the extra space and benches. The benches are really nice and I love the way it covers the sand. My husband put the sandbox together in less than an hour with sand and canopy. We bought 750 pounds of sand but only used 450 pounds and it is half an inch from the top. I did notice that it has attracted ants and earwigs. My only suggestion would be for the wood to be a little thicker (more sturdy), treated for bugs, and canopy to have more support to keep rain water from pooling at the ends of the canopy. Overall, we love this investment and have recommended it to numerous friends.

  • Great sandbox for small children

Easy to assemble, however the small screws for the hinges stripped very easily and I had to use some other screws that I had. The wood seems thin but when in use seems to hold up well. I like the fact that it is cedar it will last longer outside. The covered top is a plus to keep cats out, but it does allow leaves in, easier to clean. Good value for the price. Preferred over plastic

  • Lots of fun Water Pirate Ship

    Apr 2, 2014

    susieqshopper  from California, Rating:5.0

This little Pirate Ship is a pretty good size. Our grandson tries to reach across, but I have to to tell him to walk around. It has to be almost full to be able to use the cannon for it to squirt water and it shoots pretty far. It seems pretty study with only 3 big legs, which you screw underneath to the ship. There is a hand pump you push in the middle which water goes up to the center of the crows nest and runs water down the outside of center which makes all the spinner on the pole spin. A lot of little items to play in the ship. Which there were more pirates that came with the ship, only 2 total. Also the spinners on both sides that you spin by hand does not stay on, I tried to get them to attach, but seems to just float off. Still love the fun it gives my grandson, he does get pretty wet playing with the ship.
