Didn't leave any kind of marks on my light tan ugg boots. the weather wasn't bad so i'm not sure if the water or dirt would have not sticked to the boots. what is great is that you can use this on anything, clothes-hats-boots-jackets ect.

Setting up a tent can seem a complex task for any first-time camper. Tents are an essential and useful piece of camping gear, for sure, but many frustrated campers have cursed their camping tent as they've tried to set it up in the dark without proper preparation. However, once you've set up a tent several times, it becomes a familiar routine that can easily be repeated even in the most difficult hiking and camping conditions, and once you've mastered setting up one kind of tent, it will then be easier to set up other kinds of tents, be they dome tents or family tents. Camping and hiking should be enjoyable, and they certainly can be if you know how to set up your camping and hiking equipment. It can be so great to be out in nature camping, roasting marshmallows and gazing up at the stars. But after a day full of the outdoors, it's time to retire to your home away from home, your tent. It won't give you all the conveniences of home, but a tent should keep you dry and protected from critters while you sleep. It should also hold most of your camping gear and give you a place to go if the weather isn't cooperating. So buy a tent hoping you will only sleep in it, but also buy a tent that will be comfortable to be awake in as well.

Learning how to buy a sleeping bag isn't as difficult as it can seem, however. Every pound counts when you are on a hiking trip, so you'll want outdoor cooking equipment that won't slow you down. When you go hiking, not all outdoor cooking equipment or outdoor grills will do the job. Although perfect for other camping situations, most outdoor gas grills won't work for hiking, and a dutch oven is completely out of the question for a backpacking trip. After a few miles, you'll probably regret packing just any old cooking gear you had on hand. When you go hiking, make sure to take camping cooking equipment designed with backpacking in mind. Here are a few items you shouldn't forget on your next backpacking trip.

There are three basic types of sleeping pads available for use with sleeping bags: air mattresses,, foam pads and self-inflating pads. The type of pad you'll need depends on what kind of camping you'll be doing and how much padding you prefer.
