Good irons with low CG. I use the 4 and 5 iron almost exclusevly on long approach shots and out of roughs I seem to like to play out of! Very sturdy and balanced.

I purchased these clubs at the end of last season after my old irons decided it was time to give in. I've got a fast swing, but I'm still learning the game, having only been playing for 8 or 9 years. I golf about 1 or 2 times a month during a given season, and these irons are really helping me improve my game. They have a satisfying feel to them on contact, and they hit straight and pretty long for me. They get under the ball nicely and I'm getting admirable spin on my shots. The only downside, I suppose, is if you're a self-conscious person, they have a fat-looking profile and people may judge you based on that, or it may throw you off to be hitting with these clubs and not thinner irons. But if you can get over that, and you aren't completely interested in working the ball left or right, just hitting it straight and true, this set is worth looking in to.
