I bought this for my hubbie for Father's Day June 2009 as a starter set being he has never played golf. Some of his fellow golfers stated that this was a great purchase and now he's excited to play. I also purchased the extended warranty just in case but I don't for see any problems. I'm also impress with the quality of the golf set and also it comes with covers for irons # 1 and 3 and a nice bag with a hood. GREAT PURCHASE!!!!

This is my first purchase of golf clubs and my start in the game at 44. I am very pleased with the clubs and have become a golf junkie. The clubs strike well.

I bought these club from Overstock. I am very pleased with Overstock services. From the time I placed my order, I had my clubs in 4.5 days. Shipping was fast and easy. When FEDEX delivered the clubs the packing box had no damage to it, nor the clubs inside it. I have played 5 games ( to get my handicap ), with my new Nextt clubs. They are solid. No trouble with loose club heads. I am hitting the ball @ 5 yards further with each club. I truely like my new Nextt clubs better then the set of Titleist I had. The guys I play with tried them out and they liked the clubs. I would totally recomend the Nextt ( 15pc ) golf clubs to anyone. I am a well satisfied customer. Thanks Nextt and Overstock. These clubs were more than what i expected. I purchased them due to trying to getting started in golf. I have looked everywhere around where i live for left handed clubs, but cant find them or afford them. All my friends were impressed by them and said the next time they boght clubs, they would check out overstock.com.

For someone who only golfs to be social (maybe once or twice a year) - these are great clubs for the money. No longer have to feel embarrassed about my clubs.

From the other reviews, I think I just got a defective club. The head of the 7 Iron flew off on a clean hit the first time out to the driving range. From inspecting the shaft, it looks like the torque of the hit (which couldn't have been much, since I got all ball and no turf) caused the epoxy holding the head on the shaft to fail, and on the follow-through the head followed the ball right out into the range. This was the first swing I took with that club. Unfortunately they were not able to find the head when they swept the balls that night. I'm convinced this was just a lemon club because otherwise, the set seems to be a great value. I've had no problems with the other clubs in the set, and one of my friends who's been playing for a while has told me that overall this is a very good quality beginner's set.

Had these clubs for two weeks and in that time frame half of the irons had heads that where shifting away from the shaft and becoming loose. Some of them did a complete 180 from their original position, so they no longer lined up properly with the grip. The pitching wedge head completely broke off from the shaft on the 8th hole. So I worked with the overstock guys to get a replacement which I did. Next set lasted another 2 weeks before the 7-iron started to do the same. Pretty sure if i would of lined up another shot it would of disconnected as well. I really like the clubs for the price but the quality was extremely poor. Only if they did a better job of gluing then all would be well. Buy at your own risk, over all the clubs are quite nice but i WOULD EXTREMELY RECOMMEND A WARRANTY.

We got this set for my 12-year-old son's birthday. He's growing very quickly (already 5' 8 1/2") so we got the men's standard size. Should hopefully fit him for a couple of years. Great quality clubs, bag and head covers. Can't beat the price!

I found your product online at a great price and to be delivered before Christmas. Unfortunately, it's been too cold in the DFW area to get out and try the clubs with my son, but he was extrememly excited with his give and we look forward to many days on the golf course. I have used these clubs twice after upgrading from a garage sale set. I don't play much, but my game improved drastically since purchasing these clubs. I also had a friend use my hybrid and said it hit better than any of his clubs, which were a lot more money. The putter chipped off some paint after the 2nd or 3rd hit, but was not big deal. Overall I am impressed and can't wait to keep using them. I would highly recommend these to a beginner or even intermediate player on a budget.
