We have not used them in weather yet, but this set is made very well of excellent fabric. They are not lightweight and will keep you warm. If you want something light for the tropics and warm water, this might not be the set for you; but I hate to be wet and cold. They are made of heavy Cordura fabric with Teflon. The bends (arms and legs) are contour stitched for comfort and ease. There is a zipper flap on the jacket and while a brighter color would be better -- the hood is bright (NEON) chatreuse. Double velcro closures at the cuffs of the jacket and velcro closures at the cuffs on the pants leg. As well made, or better made, than all the high-end sailing brands. I ordered one set and was so impressed that I ordered a second and posted it on my sailing forum.

Over all, for the price, this is a great set of "fowlies". I haven't tried them in a very wet situation yet. However, even if there are some issues that come up later, you can't beat this set for having plenty of fowl weather gear on board for guests. Everywhere I have worn the jacket people have commented on how nice it looks!

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. It has a lot of bells and whistles. The leg and arm cuffs basically make the coat very functional for a long pant and large coat. Comparable to the middle range f.w.g. from West Marine.

Would recommend to anyone, sure beats paying a small fortune for a brand name, and if they don't last as long as the brand name you can afford to buy another set

I was happily surprised by the quality of the gear. The real test of course is when it gets a good dousing while sailing. I suspect it will be fine. As soon as I received the first set I showed them to my wife and then she wanted a set too! For the money you absolutely can't go wrong!
