NORTHPOLE 12 Person 3 Room 15 x 15 ft tent

Tent is large but weighs a ton, 60 lbs or so. The poles kept coming apart when setting it up, they are more like pipes than poles, large and a lot of them to setup this tent. We ended up returning it since it was way too big and hard to set up.

Nice tent. We are just beginning to camp as a family. The tent wasn't too difficult to put up. And we comfortably had 4 adults and 8 kids in the tent, air mattresses included. It is a lot to put up and take down for just an overnight, but overall we enjoyed it.

Went up easy, lots of room! Haven't used it yet, but very excited. Great color and love the height! Made well

Pros: -HUGE. Plenty of room for my husband and our toddler, our 6 mo. old and her pack and play, and our two dogs (great dane, if you're wondering at the necessity of the tent size.) -Divide is great if you have dogs or another family camping with you. Also helped deter mosquitoes from getting into our side. -Easy to set up. Husband did it all in 5 minutes in the dark while I held the baby. Everything comes color coded, though the colored labels wear off quickly. Plan on buying spray paint so you can tell the poles apart! -Rain fly went on in under 2 minutes, which was a lifesaver when a midnight rain shower caught us by surprise. -Lots of windows. This was fantastic because it was sweltering the night we went camping, and the mosquitoes were out in full force. It was great to be able to have breeze without having to worry about being carried away. Cons: -The holes in the side. They're tiny, but could let in rain if it rained hard enough. I'm also not pleased that the quality of the material is such that it wore after only one use. -Zipper on the storage bag broke. This might have been our fault for yanking on it, but that brings me to my next point. -Troublesome to get back into the bag. Granted, my husband was doing it alone, but I still think that the manufacturers should have allowed some space. -Door zippers. My husband and I don't agree on this one - he found them particularly easy to use, while I kept getting the zipper cover caught in them.

• How accurate was the sizing? Very - it's HUGE.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Fair. While setting it up for only the second time, we noticed that some very small holes had worn into the side. Then, the zipper on the bag ripped away from the fabric while we were putting it away.
• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Can't say for certain, but I highly doubt that we wore holes in the side in the hour that we used it.
