This is a great bench well made. Operating the decline to incline part is a breeze. The only draw back is when I try to do sit ups my butt falls perfectly into the spot with no padding. Plan to fix this problem by making small piece of padded seat to fit in open space. Not sure but I think you would have this problem with most benches that go from incline to decline.Read More
Easy to assemble and structurally sound. The product was as specified and is versatile as it needs to be. It should last a lifetime.Read More
This bench is ok at best. The seat has a 2 inch pad, but the bench pad is only 1 inch. I've only had it for a few months and it feels like the pad is not hooding up very well. My opinion, spend a little more and get a quality product.Read More

I purchase this Multi-Purpose Weight Bench this tuesday June 22 2010, It arrived at 11:30am this Thursday June 25 delivered by Fed-Ex! Which is amazing considering heavy machines can takes months to be delivered, mines came in just three days (not including purchase date). I assemble this machine in about 2 hours (including breaks and a qucik lunch): and easy to read instructions and all parts (screws, washers, etc) came in a sealed plastic cardboard which is great. I will give an update on how good this weight bench hold up to a large size leg exentison machine in about a month or two: Last but Not Least: I have been meaning to buy a leg extension machine for my lower body since I left school (I tone up really well with just a few equipment, leg extension machine being one of the machines I used), Walking does your body good, but it can't replace a well made exercise machine: asked any celebrity, they get their body in amazing shape using well made/well quality exercise machines. So for anyone trying to get in shape consult your doctor, do your research on your body, and compare exericse equipment prices, ease of use, and dependablity online Then dive into working out with weights and small home gyms like this weight bench: You'll be proud of yourself and you'll also tone your body in less time then just using a traditional workout regimen like: Walking, sensible eating, food restriction Trust me I went from 200 to 154 in a month in half (eating seven times a day) and not restricting any foods using light weights, small gym equipments like: leg extension machince and arm machine, walking, eating breakfast, and limiting stress, and walking, walking, walking!Read More
Good, solid bench. It is sturdy and it is long. Sufficient padding. I use this for dumbbell workouts and leg press/curls. It is a tall bench but any bench with a leg press attachment is going to need to be. The only thing missing on this bench is handles on the side but I can make do. It did not come with an Olympic weight adapter for the leg attachment. Easy to understand instructions and assembly if you have any ability at all. I wanted a FID bench with leg press/curl and this fits the bill as good as any could.Read More
I've used this product for a little over five weeks and have been pleased overall. It's easy to adjust for different exercises, was fairly simple to assemble, and has held up fine so far in terms of durability. The only issue was part of the vinyl trim on the seat cushion started to come loose, but that hasn't affected the performance of the product. The price was very reasonable compared to related products. I'd recommend it for the budget-concious home fitness enthusiast looking for a basic workout.Read More

Treadmills vs Elliptical Trainers
New variations of tried-and-true exercise machines are always being introduced to the market as the technology of exercise equipment improves. Two exercise machines that have gained popularity are elliptical trainers and treadmills. A major advantage to elliptical trainers is that they possess little risk of injury to the knees, hips, back or ankles. Meanwhile, treadmills are home gym machines on which you can run, walk or jog. The treadmill has been in the marketplace for a long time and is a long-standing piece of standard equipment for most exercise enthusiasts. Elliptical Machines: Elliptical machines present a lower risk of injury to the body. This home gym machine allows the individual to stand in an upright position while supporting her upper body by holding onto the handrails. The individual is able to pick out what muscles to train by shifting the strength on the legs or the arms. This provides for a more flexible workout machine. The machine bears its name because it works to copy the foot's elliptical motion as well as the rotation of the hip during walking or running. Advantages of Elliptical Machines: Since elliptical machines work the upper and lower body, they help you reach your target heart rate more optimally, providing a better cardiovascular workout overall. Individuals can burn a larger number of calories in a shorter period of time. Muscles that benefit from this machine include the legs, shoulders, chest, biceps, triceps and the back. Elliptical machines are also relatively easy to operate and are energy efficient because they do not use much electricity. Treadmills: Traditional treadmills were developed to help you walk, run or jog. Treadmills differ in advantages as there are some machines that have programs that can be customized based on your weight and fitness level. You can also manually control the program to increase or decrease the speed, the incline or the duration of the workout. Walking on a traditional treadmill, however, creates more impact on the knees and hips and may be a cause of injury for some users. Advantages of Treadmills: Some treadmill models have a cushioned surface to support the knees and other parts of the body. With these models, there is a lower risk of injury and an increased level of comfort for the user. Moreover, treadmills provide you with the option to run, jog or walk in the comfort of the gym. Also, you can burn calories by increasing the heart rate, providing a good cardiovascular workout. Buy Home Gym Machines Back to Guides Directory Buy Home Gym Machines
