I picked this tent out without any prior knowledge of camping, and am glad I made the purchase. I liked how everything was so compact and came in it's own carrying case (although, a bit hard to get everything back in again-- but, it can be done!). The tent was VERY roomy for two people and our gear. It would certainly be comfortable for three. No bugs got in at all! And it kept us dry from a light rain. The floor is made of tarp-like material, which even extends up the sides for a few inches, so I'm certain we would have stayed dry if the rain puddled. Only minor problem was that I think they packed the wrong instructions with the tent. However, my boyfriend and I figured it out in no time flat. There were also a few stray strings hanging off of it, but that wasn't a big deal. I'd definitely recommend this tent to anyone who is looking for a quality tent at a good price.
I haven't field tested this tent yet, but I have tested in my backyard. The best part about the tent is it's size when it's all packed up. It's so compact that I would consider hiking with it even though it's big enough to fit 4 people side-by-side. The construction is adequate and the design of the door, windows and rain fly are good. I like the extra ties on the inside peak of the tent to hang lights or other lightweight gear. Pockets on either side of the tent will prove useful for glow sticks or other small valuables you don't want getting lost in the sleeping bags. Set up is easy and intuitive. My kids, 9 and 10 years old, set it up by themselves in about 10 minutes. Only drawback is the center height is lower than I would prefer, but it's tolerable. Overall, I like the tent, especially considering the price I paid for it. I recommend it for any couple looking for an inexpensive weekend tent. Easily accomodates 2 car campers with gear.
I purchased this tent for my son's 9th birthday after reading reviews on several tents and knowing my price limit. Overall it was easy to put up, especially since I have never put up a tent before. The tent was roomy enough for my son and his 8 friends to play in on & off all evening. It appeared to be roomy enough for 3 people, 3 sleeping bags, and 3 luggage bags if using overnight which we did not. My major complaint is that the zipper for the door was extremely difficult to zip and unzip. It required 2 hands to do, one holding the zipper and the other pinching the tent. After several zips/unzips by the kids the stitches at the top of the door pulled a bit. My minor complaints are that it leaked water during a hard rain storm and it was difficult to fit back into its storage bag. Overall, this tent served its purpose: the kids had a great time with it. I would recommend to anyone who is a "casual" camper.
The zippers were terrible and the rain fly didn't match up. When I set it up the front door zipper was already broken. It would be alright for kids camping in your backyard.

This tent is a great two person tent for light or summer camping. It is easy for a single person to setup and is very light weight and easy to pack. Since we did not expect rain during our trip, we did not use the canopy for rain protection. I would recommend using cots or other methods to get up off the floor of the tent to take full advantage of the great airflow available.
I have not yet used this camping, but from inspection and a trial setup, it appears to be a good purchase. It set up easily and actually could be folded up by a mere mortal to fit back into the included bag. I wish the tradition of giving the measurements of tents by their "unfinished" dimensions were abandoned, but it was not too much smaller than I anticipated: the short dimension of the tent accommodates the long dimension of a queen size air mattress. Workmanship looks clean and neat, no hanging threads or sloppiness. I expect it will perform its intended function as protection from the elements and basic privacy while sleeping, reading (if stuck inside because of rain), and eating for one person or a couple.
I got this for my grandson. we had a great time camping out overnight in it. It was quick and easy to assemble. Plenty of space.

My young sons loved this tent. Good value for the price.
This tent is ok, it will be good for a couple festivals I am planning to go to this year. It is not as sturdy as I hoped it would be, but it's super easy to assemble and the fabric seems pretty durable. Durable for light camping, do not take this thing backpacking into the mountains. Overall, I think I got my money's worth.
- How accurate was the sizing? Accurate, if they say it's a three person tent (two can fit really really comfortably)
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality is not the best. I would not take this tent on any back packing trips but festival or summer camping would be just fine.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes.
My 6'1" Scout needed a tent that would let him lay straight in and this turned out to be the right choice. He has used it on every late Spring, Summer and early Fall campout. Even had to shelter other scouts when their tent started to leak in a heavy rainstorm. Not sure about colder weather camping, yet.
- How accurate was the sizing? Exactly as described
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good manufacturing and quality of material.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No manufacturing defects.
Great value, compact, roomy and nice color. Nice base, sides a little thin with a lot of screen material but the fly covers up that. Our last tent lasted 20 years and we hope this one does as well.
- How accurate was the sizing? Looks right!
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. pretty good

I haven't had the chance to use the tent yet, but after reading the reviews I can't wait to. It comes in a very small tote, about the size of a gym duffel so that's a plus since I'm going to be a "car camper" in a Corolla. I've been checking out prices and availability of camping supplies and equipment and it's tough to beat Overstocks prices and selection on most items. As usual, the shipping is fast and returns have never been a problem. I'll write another review after I've used the tent!

A very good tent for the price. I like that it is small when packed. Only problem was zipping the tent up when outside. Zipper keep getting caught in rain flap. Just had to learn how to reach in the tent and pull the zipper away from the flap.
Tent is unstable... might be ok in a calm area but will not be suitable in windy or wet areas.

Perfect for three grand kids under 6 yr old. Makes camping in the family room a breeze. Holds lots of toys and rubberized liner catches all the spills and saves the carpet. Big open windows

This tent is very light weight, fairly easy to assemble and folds up in to a small package. Everything we were looking for. I can't attest to what it is like to use. It is for our emergency preperation kit.

- How is the quality of the product? The quality seemed to be very good. I have never purchased a tent so have no point of reference.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes. It took a while to do this review because we had to set it up first. All there and all fits.
It is great. The bottom tarp material comes up 6 inches up the walls on the bottom to protect against wet ground or rain soaked ground. It Has a wide open top for breeze or star gazing. It fits neatly in the provided small carry bag. Set up and take down was a breeze. For this price i may buy a few and resell them.
- Did the product fit true to size? Yea its big enough for a small family
- How is the quality of the product? great, open roof for star gazers and feeling the night breeze
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? yes, its flawless
Good quality. Exactly what was expected. Arrived on time. I Love it . Price was right.
For the price, this tent worked very well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My 11 yr old daughter and I put this tent up in about 10 minutes...very easy set-up. Also used a queen size air mattress inside and still had room around the tent edges to store our back packs, etc. For two average sized people this is sufficient. Three average sized people would be pushing it a little. Very happy with this purchase!
