I got this for my husband as an anniversary gift so he would have a jacket for the hot summers we get here in the South. It looks great on him (he looks so cool!) and he said it's very comfortable. It gives me a little more peace of mind since he's been in one accident and didn't have a jacket on (road rash anyone?). It's not leather but it does give him more protection and he doesn't sweat his clothes out wearing it.

I've used my other summer jacket until it looks "pillie" in front so when my wife saw this jacket she got it for me. It is VERY similar to my older one that was more than twice the price. Although it did not come with the liner, it is still a great bargain and provides a cooler, ventilated way to protect yourself while riding during the hot months and still have the armour. It also keeps me from getting sunburned or windburned. I use it locally as well as long rides and really don't get overheated in it. It looks great, too!

Perfect lite hot weather jacket. Not for colder weather. I used in 95 + degree weather and stayed comfortable.

We live in the desert and this jacket offers support where it's needed and the mesh allows the air to flow through and cool you off.

Back armor is a removable 1/4 inch dense foam pad, and shoulder and elbow armor is just several layers of the jacket material. That is more protection than a windbreaker though. I did break one of the lower plastic D-rings where the velcro cinches the waist up. Broke on the first day. I replaced it with an aluminum carabiner and it works fine. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Great Jacket for anyone looking for an entry level motorcycle jacket. I just started riding bought the same jacket for my wife and her scooter she loved it so I decided to purchase one that was my size. I wish I had gone up a size because it fits but it fits a little snug. Still it was a great purchase good price it was the cheapest high quality jacket that I could find online.

I just bought my first sport bike and this jacket is perfect for the spring. It fits well, it is comfortable and it has a great look. There isn't much padding, but for $xx, I am not too picky. It does what it says it does and what I need it for. Would definitely recommend.

Nice Jacket good for the cold weather and fits me so nice.

Light Jacket. Cool in 90 degree heat if you are moving. No hard armor in shoulders or arms but better than wearing a t-shirt.

I got my jacket and put it on, the size ran big, but I notice that the air flows well thru it. The protection is minimal, the elbow pad is just that, doubled material, this is the same for the shoulders. The back is a thin piece of foam like material. The wrist is very large, so the velcro has to be wrenched over the top of your wrists. I was a little disappointed but when you live in the heat, you need something to protect your skin, this will do.

I received it this week and did a 400 mile ride today. Great quality for the money. I wear a 1stgear Kilimanjaro in different weather and I lke this one.

From all of the research I have done on finding a reliable and inexpensive jacket for my motorcycle, this one beats out the rest. Strong quality, thick mesh, and breathes very well. Great buy for the price, and it looks really sleek. you wont be disappointed

Great jacket for the money.... like the other reviewers said.... the armor is not really armor but its better than just going riding in a tshirt. Jacket fits good, looks good and is a good value.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this jacket. Fast shipping and fits great. Not for cold weather. The mesh lets in lots of cool air on those hot days. Not heavy armor, but sufficient for normal riding. Love the jacket.

No issues with the purchasing process. This is a lightweight riding jacket that I intend to use on hot weather rides. Don't think it will offer much rain protection. The back armor and arm/shoulder padding are lighter duty, but having something is better than nothing (ie. just a t-shirt). The fit according to the size chart seems right - the arms could fit a little more snug, but there are adjustment straps that I haven't used yet. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase given the nature of intended use and cost of the jacket.

I agree with some on the reviewers about offering REAL protection. This jacket has minor protection in the elbows and back, but even that it's still better then a t-shirt. I gave it 4 stars for the fact I came from a heavy protected Joe Rocket riding jacket. This thing feels like a heavy shirt, more then a jacket, but that's what I wanted as riding in central Florida, it's already too hot for my big coat. Comes with extra snaps, I'm not sure what they are used for! :) Overall, I like the jacket and it makes me look cool riding a red/black sport bike, with a red/black mesh jacket!!

Recently had the misfortune of having a bike accident. Fortunately I was wearing this jacket and not just a t-shirt. Slid probably 2 to 3 feet on the left elbow and full front. When I got up I expected the jacket to be ruined from the road rash it should have received from sliding. Instead, it is indistinguishable from its condition when it came out of the bag new. I was very much impressed that it wasn't ripped, torn, or pulled and pucked from the accident. Furthermore, my injuries were minimized because this is one tough jacket. While I would not recommend flipping your bike like I did, I feel better knowing that this mesh is between the fleshy part of me and road--a hard, rough, unforgiving surface. I HIGHLY Recommend this jacket for anyone who rides in the warm weather. The jacket breathes nicely and will keep you cool and more importantly, it will protect you should you have an accident. So Be Careful and Ride Safely!

This jacket is a great deal at a great price. Removable liner for warmer days is great. I bought this solely for warm weather riding.

I bought this jacket for my husband after buying a similar one for myself. The jacket looks sharp, fits great, and was a great value. He's very pleased with it.
