Title was fine
It gets cold and windy in the Winter here in Pennsylvania, not to mention snowy. If I have to be out with temps in the teens or lower, shoveling snow (especially a blowing snow), this jacket would be difficult. The sleeves are very short for my long arms, count on them being shorter and the fit much tighter wearing layered heavy winter clothing underneath. Keep in mind I am 6'2" tall and weigh around 220. This jacket was supposed to be a 2XL, it fits me like a 1XL, if that! If it shrinks any when laundered, I am surely in rouble! The sleeves are not cuffed, nor is the bottom, so expect cold to get inside easily. I am retired and on a serious budget and that is why I chose this parka, because of the price. And it might be an alright jacket for some who do not plan to be out in the extreme cold conditions for long. Here you always want a jacket that is ready for anything anytime in Winter. This one does not make that cut. I am sorry. It might be okay for areas where Winters are not as brutal. You will have to make that call yourself.

Wouldn't call this a parka...
First, in usual Overstock fashion, quick shipping. Now, as for this, um, jacket... The biggest problem with it is that there is no waist-cinch. Thus, as you move around and have nothing but a shirt on underneath, it gets cold. Now, it does have a drawstring at the bottom, but you have to get it pretty tight to keep much air out. This restricts movement greatly. Also, there's nothing around the wrists to keep the air out, not a snap nor inner cuff. There are only four, widely spaced snaps on the front of the jacket, as well. I live in New York City. It gets cold and windy here. This thing called a parka ain't gonna cut it.
