great value for the money
from minneapolis, mn,  Sep 22, 2009

Works perfect for me, I have had some knee issues and this machine has helped quite a bit , much better then the stretching my doc recommended. My husband laughed at me for ordering this off the internet but even he thinks that it is a well put together machine. I use mine every day and have had no problems besides the distance calculator doesn't reset and be sure to know that the stride is very short but once you get used to that it seems to be a quality machine. I'm really happy with it and my husband uses it sometimes too.

Love It!
from Portland, OR,  Apr 1, 2009

I'm not someone who is motivated to work out on a regular basis. I started using it last week. I found a website that gives recommended "training" program for an eliptical. For me that was helpful in how long I should use it. It "rocks" a little as others mentioned, but not at all where you feel like you are going to fall off. I love the fact that it tells me how long I've been on and calories burned. What an eye opener to see that in 20 minutes I've barely worked off my can of regular soda. The timer is nice because the "training" program that I found online recommends starting out the first 5 min. at a warm up pace, ramp up a little for the next 5, up a little more to the next five, go all out for 5 and then start working your way back down to a five minute cool down pace. So having the timer right there to glance at was handy. I think it is perfect for someone who needs something small in there home that doesn't have a lot of space, but doesn't have the time or money for a gym. LOVE IT! and so does my five year old.

Set up was pretty easy, the counter is easy to read and the machine is small enough to fit in a corner of my room out of the way when not inuse. The only problem I've had is some of he bolts one the handlebar needed to be retightened after little bit of use.

Great Mini
from Redmond, WA,  Dec 3, 2008

I just purchased this Mini right before Thanksgiving. I got it on the 1st. The directions were a little bit hard, so I had my roommate put it together. But the performance it of it is GREAT! I put in right in the livingroom at the end and its so compact it doesn't take up much space at all. It takes me about 15 minutes to get a good sweat and heart rate going. Im very happy with the product. It's a little wobbley, but a great chance to work on my balance as well. My roommate wants to use it as well. He's a big guy, so I'm confident that it can hold him as well. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Now I have no excuse to not be working out while dinner is cooking, or while watching tv.

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT BUY!!!
 from Oklahoma,  Oct 6, 2008

The elliptical was easy to put together, and it rocked a little and made a lot of squeaking noises- but I'm a reasonable person, I could live with it. BUT I have only had this product since August of this year-2008, and it broke tonight! The left pedal completely came off the track, COMPLETELY!!! And this part was already assembled when it was shipped to my house- showing that it wasn't my error, but the company who makes these mini ellipticals. I chose this elliptical because it had almost a 100% positive feedback, but mine fell apart in only 2 months- I'm telling you, if you want a product worth buying, this is NOT the one. I only weigh 150 lbs, and this product should have worked longer than 2 months!!!!!! Very dissatisfied!

Great little elliptical for its price
from Bellingham, WA,  Jun 25, 2008

I have very little room in my apartment so I needed something small. This is definitely a compact elliptical! It is also pretty light making it easy to move and store. It has a smaller stride than a regular elliptical so it definitely took some getting use to. I am not going to lie, I didn't like the stride at first but after a couple of days I was use to it and burning a sweat during the Today Show! This elliptical was easy to assemble and has been sturdy so far. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the handle bar is a little wobbly where the two pieces of the handle bar connect. Its quiet and compact so overall, I recommend it.

THIS ITEM IS STURDY, SOLID AND EFFECTIVE! I USE IT BETWEEN 5 AND 20 MINUTES EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK IT IS SMALL ENOUGH THAT IT FITS IN A SMALL HALLWAY CLOSET AND LARGE ENOUGH SO THAT I DO NOT FEEL LIKE A SEAL BALANCING ON A BALL LOSING ABOUT AN INCH EVERY 2 WEEKS!

Good for the size and cost
from Seattle, WA,  Mar 20, 2008

This machine was easy to assemble and fits in the corner of my bedroom. It was a little hard to get used to at first, being accustomed to full-sized ellipticals, but once I get in a groove, I work up just as much of a sweat. Not a bad little exercise machine!

need to adjust
 from virginia,  Aug 16, 2011

The handlebars are a problem, the screws provided dont tighten and it is a little wobbly. It is small and does provide a low impact workout if you dont have alot of space. I had to buy 2 longer screws which i placed one on side to go through both holes and bolt it and then i had to drill from the front to back another hole and secure the handlebars. it was a pain, they need to fix this by the time you put this together which wasnt that hard you dont want to try and box it to send it back. it is ok if you cant make it to gym especially in winter time.

Love it!
from Gilbert, AZ,  Jul 28, 2011

This was perfect for what I needed! It is small enough that it does not take up too much room when put away and can be taken out whenever I need to use it. It does wobble a little but, like the other reviewers stated, not enough to feel like you are going to tip over. I'm 5'4" so the smaller stride lenght works great for me. Overall a great machine!

Mini Elliptical
from California girl,  Jul 13, 2011

This is very small, but that's what I needed in my tiny home. It was easy to assemble and is a good workout. Tall people probably wouldn't like it, I'm 5'6" and it's almost too small for me. Very good for the size and price tho'. Tension isn't worth setting - movement isn't very smooth if you try to get more resistance with the tension setting.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Great

Satisfied!
from Tampa, FL,  Jul 7, 2011

I found this product to be extremely effective! I love to work out but am a student and needed something small, portable, economical and effective. The resistance knob is my favorite feature because I like to challenge myself to get a good workout in. This product provides a great cardio workout. I am a smaller female but my boyfriend who is 6' 3" can also use it with ease. The only thing that someone needs to be aware of is that the circular motion of the foot is different than a gym elliptical. The motion of this product is more like a mixture of the circular motion of an ellipitcal/ stair stepper/ and bicycle. The range from forward to back is not what I expected but after a few minutes I got used to it and find this to be very effective. I recommend it! HIghlights: Small, portable, safe, effective, good resistance knob, good timer and calorie counter. Things to know: You'll need a socket wrench to tighten the bolts so that it doesn't rock like some people complain of. Also, the directions to put it together are only pictures but with some common sense and a picture of the finished product it took maybe 15-25 minutes.

  • How accurate was the sizing? Very
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. It's exactly what I wanted
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes, perfect condition

pretty good short legs
from Jersey City, NJ,  Jun 29, 2011

The mini elliptical is pretty good - it is definitely mini and fits in a small apartment perfectly. It arrived in just a few days and took a little common sense to put together (the instructions are only a few pictures) but if you have assembled stuff before, it's pretty logical and come with an allen wrench and not too many parts. I like it - it's a cute machine and the rollers are silent so there's no noise or impact when you use it. The only issue is that beacuse it's small, the leg "reach" is not very long so your stride is very short. I have only used it a couple of times so far, but I'll be curious to see if I can work up a sweat and really get going on it. All in all, for the price, I would say it was a worthwhile purchase.

  • Did the product fit true to size? yes
  • How is the quality of the product? good
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? yes

Good value and size
from Bay Area, CA,  Feb 4, 2011

I am 5' tall and wanted an elliptical at home that didn't take up too much room and had a smaller stride. This is perfect, and such a good deal! My tall teenage sons do use it also, but not as often.

Just OK
from Los Angeles,  Dec 1, 2010

Well, if you need something for a tiny space its fine and will do the job. It definitely wobbles and the stride length is tiny, its almost a stair-stepper without the height. I'd say imagine you are running in place, but on pedals, that's how small the stride is. My main complaint is that the directions SUCK (they don't exist, actually just poorly copied photos), but its not hard to figure out and took me about 30-40 mins to put together by myself The main problem is where the handle bar attaches, you can't use the allen wrench and both sides are loose, so its like you need two wrenches on each side to tighten, and the "wrench" they provide doesn't fit one side at all. So that handlbars are very wobbly. But, for the money and free shipping, its a pretty decent deal. Just don't have very high expectations.

Works Great
from McCall, ID,  Nov 3, 2010

We bought this to go in our house as a temporary fix until we can afford the big elliptical machines. It sure works great. It's pretty small and easy to move anywhere around the house. The only thing I can complain about... is that it wobbles a bit... so if you are an unstable person with bad balance, this machine might not be for you. Other than that, it's great!
