SUMMARY: For a bottom of the line compact piece of exercise equipment - I guess it's fine. Right for some - but if you are serious about fitness look elsewhere..GREATEST PRO: Compact and inexpensive (compared to other equipment). GREATEST CON: Workmanship (but fairly easy to fix)....................................... ....................................... ....................................... ....................................... ....................................... ....................................... ....................................... ...................................................... If you are looking for something to make you fit, a good workout, and something you will use quite often, then buy a REAL piece of exercise equipment - spending the extra money will be worth it.If you are looking for something small, compact, for occasional use, and something to not necessarily get you into shape, but an entry level item to make you just a little more active than sitting at a computer all day - this is for you.I purchased this because i just wanted something simple and cheep to use in my home while i'm on the computer or watching TV. Assembly was fine enough - although the rear leg screws appear to not be completely tight. When using it i wouldn't describe it as "quiet" although it is by no means noisy. Also, at first there was a considerably noisy and annoying scratching of the metal foot petal arms with the central plastic housing. This was fixed by taking a knife and shaving off bits of the plastic where it was scratching and pushing the overall housing inward. Squeaking problems also occured but were solved with a generous amount of WD-40 to various parts of the machine. In summary - you get what you pay for.

First off, it is not a very good workout as it does not really make you sweat. The pros: It's easy to assemble and fast shipping. The cons: not very effective cardio workout machine.Honestly,I would not recommend this to anyone. You are better off running outside or at the gym.I had high hopes but once I got it and started to use it, I was very dissapointed.

I was excited about having a little "work out" in my office, and it is good for that. It is quiet and compact. But, it is not comfortable to use for long periods of time. I can't do more than 5-10 minutes because my legs feel cramped up. The stride is really really really short, and the movement is kind of jerky. It's not smooth unless I lean over in an awkward angle. I frequently lose my balance when standing upright. So I would say, if you really need a compact elliptical, this does it's job, but it's nothing at all like a true elliptical.

The good: small and (relatively) inexpensive. Some exercise is better than none and I don't have to go to a gym.
The bad: small radius needs getting used to. Can topple a little too easily. There is no address or website for this company - not a good sign. I had a mini stepper but a simple part broke. The company (not this one) wouldn't even reply to my request for the replacement part. Don't know how long this will last and I can't even see the inner workings. I think the mini stepper is a better form of exercise but I will not (so far) buy a whole new one as I don't want to add to landfill and I refuse to give in to companies that accept "built in redundancy" instead of making a good product. The durability rating is a guess. I only weigh around 120 lbs.
This machine is more like a stair-stepper/elliptical hybrid. It really works your legs, but likes others have said the stride is very small thus making it more like a stair stepper. The big problem with this machine is the low center of gravity makes it very unstable, it tilts and knocks over if you don't maintain near perfect balance. Now in a way this is good, because balance and good form is an important part of working out. However I don't think the machine was designed for this purpose. For the price, overall it's not bad, you will have to make sure you keep good balance, and you will work your legs.

I read the reviews it sounded like a good deal, but you never know now days. So I got it, it showed up in sturdy packaging, fairly easy to put together. Some of the bolts have to be loosened before you can put another piece on, I had to have my husband help me with the loosening of 2 of the bolts. (but maybe I need to work out my arms more too!)It looks real nice and is totally quiet like everyone says! I honestly can't believe what a great deal this thing is! Its so unheard of now days to get something so well made at such a good price!I wanted to wait till I used it for a little while before I reviewed. So I've been using it for two weeks now. The stride is small, but you still work up a great sweat. The little monitor helps you keep track of what you've done. I write down every day what I've done so I can keep track and keep myself motivated. It has an automatic timer. So I started out doing 20 minutes and have added 2 minutes every other day till I get to 30 minutes. Cause they say you need 30 minutes of cardio a day to stay healthy. This accomplishes that in the comfort of your own home.I live in a small apartment and I have it in my living room, it's so small and compact I just keep it pushed to the side, and pull out while I'm watching T.V. My only complaint would be, too many reruns on t.v.! Ha! Ha!I tried going backwards on it but it feels a little scary like your loosing your balance and your gonna fall backward. I guess if you held onto a wall, you could do it. But going forward is no problem, you just need a little practice and you'll be gliding in no time. The monitor does measure distance but I'm pretty sure it's in kilometers, cause it's doesn't make sense. Plus I think it adds it to the distance you ran last time. But it does tell you how many calories burned and how many steps taken and how long you were on it.I would recommend this to friends or anyone that wants a convenient way to do cardio with out having to go to a stupid gym, or having to run dark streets at night. You won't be disappointed. But if your over 5 11" or over 250 pounds you would probably want to get something with a bigger stride. But for everyone else....this is THE machine!!! Totally awesome mini!

I was excited about getting this eliptical trainer and it sure met my expectations! Very sturdy and well built -and it was easy to assemble. I like how you can adjust the tension and as one of the reviewers mentioned, even though the stepping is smaller, you still get a pretty good work-out. I have a apartment and I find it a space saver. I just plant it in front of my TV and away I go during a 1/2 hour show. Great btwn work-outs at the gym or ijust stayin nside on a rainy day - I'm glad I purchased this! You won't be displeased!

I have had this machine for almost a month now and have been very pleased. It is small ,quiet, and easy to put together. A few things to consider: measures distance in kilometers (which isn't mentioned in the instructions) and the bolts in the back need to be tightened occasionally to keep the machine working quietly.

This device is very convenient if you prefer to exercise and shower at home, but have a small apartment. It is so compact, I slide it under my coffee table when I am not using it. It provides a good cardio exercise.

I just recently purchase this and I absolutely love it. Yes I will agree the strides are small, but it still makes for a great workout. I love the fact that I can put infront of my TV, watch my favorite shows and workout. And the other plus is that it is quiet. This is a great product and I am very statisfied with it.

Although small, the little elliptical trainer works great. I'm 5'8" and the stride is a little short - but - hey, I'm doing more than not going to the gym at all. I use it for about a minute or two at a time when I walk passed it. I have it right in front of my TV. This is a great little machine.

I wanted a treadmill but I'm not really a runner b/c I get shin-splints so easily. I settled on the Mini Elliptical Trainer. Big difference I know but this little machine is amazing. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. It is great for a cardio workout and there is a dial to change the intensity and a tracker to see your progress. Grab a pair of weights or stretch bands or a weighted ball and your workout will be more of a challenge.

For such a small and low cost piece- wow....very high quality, very quiet, very sturdy plus youi get used to the no handle thing real quick. Definatly worth the month. Strides are pretty small, but for me it worked great since I'm 5'2. My only negative thing would be that i get bored on it. But i guess that's a personal thing. I have used it atleast once a week since i got it and it is running great. this one is a find.
