The first knife I ordered came to me broken and of very poor quality. One quick e-mail to Overstock fixed that. Without hesitation they mailed me a new knife, along with a return label to send the broken knife back. The knife is fair to good quality but Overstock did a really good job at customer service by making a potentially bad situation a really good one.

Bought this for a friend and loved the addition to his collection.

The product was pretty much what I expected for the price. The knife itself seems like it will be very durable, some of the items that came with it are not on the high end of quality. But like I said for what it cost I got all I was expecting and am sure it would serve its purpose if needed.

i love this knife! i use it so much i got my brother one for christmas. hopefuly i never have to use it in a life or death situation but if i do i am ready.

Hope I never need it for survival..but if so this knife seems like it will help keep you alive.

The knife came much quicker than I expected (4 business days). After opening and examing the knife, it appeared to be used. It was a little dirty, had finger prints all over it, and the screw-off end cap is very, very squeaky. All easily fixable, but not what I was expected from a "brand new" knife. Also, the compass apears to be off a little (I'm going to look into that a little more). I still like it and plan on keeping it and using it often.

This is an Oriental clone of the Spanish AITOR Survival King knife series. The supplied knife is a generic Chinese model closely resembling the original $200 Survival King I. Quality is what one would expect from a mass produced Oriental knife, but it is sturdy and functional. The survival kit in the knife handle is low quality but would work if the need ever did arise to use it. The sheath is nearly identical to the Survival King II. The symbol on the sheath even has the distinctive outline of the Survival King II knife between the wreaths (just like the original). The sling shot does work. There are many clones of the Survival King series on the market, and this one is better than most.

The set was really great. In fact, comes with so many things that I don't know what to do with some of the stuff that's in the knife kit. Seems to be pretty well made and would have a lot of uses for the outdoorsman. Looking forward to going camping w/ my new knife and see how she handles. Overall, really satisfied. Thanks O!

Knife appears to be of average quality and has served my needs well. Strap to hold knife in sheath was broken prior to shipping it appears. The item was shipped anyway, which does not say much for the company. The cost of shipping back does not justify returning item. I would recommend, but hope you get a differnt item handler packaging your order.

can't beat the price for all you get with this knife ...sling shot, compass,skinning knife. Every outdoorsman should have a knife like this.Just make sure you sharpen it before you go out to the field.

It is a large hefty knife that I just used as a garden tool to plant over 200 bulbs. The strong blade and handle quickly slid into the dense soil cutting skinny deep holes. The bane of squirrels looking to eat your new additions. After all that hard work it still looked good ... proof of a good working knife.

Excellent product, especially for the price. It comes with a very handy survival kit. Only complaint is that the knife was a little dull, but that can easily fixed by just sharpening it. It's a good knife, and I would recommend it to anyone.
