BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY GRANDSONS 8 AND 10
THIS WAS THE BEST GIFT FOR OUR YOUNG GRANDSONS. WE ALL ENJOYED LOOKING AT THE SLIDES AND VARIOUS ITEMS UNDER THE SCOPE. IT WIILL BE VERY EDUCATIONAL FOR THEM. ALL OF THE ADULTS ENJOYED THE EXCITEMENT OF THE CHILDREN DISCOVERING NAILS AND HAIR. THIS SCOPE WITH IT WILL TAKE THEM INTO HIGHSCOOL OR COLLEGE. SLIDES WERE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

Great student microscope.
This microscope was purchased as a gift for my 10 year old. It replaces the National Geographic plastic microscope that she has loved and outgrown. This microscope is perfect for her curious mind. The clarity of the lenses is superb. There isn't a lamp under the stage, just a mirror for reflected light, which is fine. It is very well made and I am pleased with this purchase. I will need to purchase a nice storage case so the microscope isn't damaged when it is not in use. It comes with 5 prepared slides and no blank slides, but I will purchase more later. We have other Celestron products. I feel they make good quality items. I am very pleased with this purchase, I feel it is definitely worth the money spent and I would recommend it to others.

- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? The product was received without damage. The microscope was double boxed. The outer box should have been a more sturdy cardboard, but there were no defects.

Professional grade microscope
The Microscope is something out of a school lab. I was surprise at the professional grade of microscope. I purchase a 50 prepared slides that are the best for this microscope.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Its Grade A steel
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? The only thing is that the box comes open so you can care it with a cardboard handle.
